Indies Outside the Box: Fan-Tastic Customs, August 2017

Good afternoon lovelies!  Summer is winding down and it has me blue.  I love having less responsibility each day, getting to chill with my kids at home or head off somewhere fun for the day.  This is their last week of swim lessons and I am so impressed with their improvement this Summer!  But I'm also ready for the schedule/routine to start back up again.  It'll have me back in the consistent swing of things like running and blogging.  So while I'm still trying to manage being on track it seemed like a good time to drop a post for you!  Today's post features the Indie Outside the Box, which will be avaialbe for pre-sale from 8/11 at 12am EST to 8/14 at 11:59pm EST.  You'll be able to pick this quad up on the Top Shelf Lacquer site during the pre-order window for $40 plus shipping.  Boxes will begin shipping on 8/30.  Let's jump in and see the polish!

Before I start talking about swatches I wanted to share the winning photos that inspired the polishes!

Let's start with Polish M!  This is At First Blush, a rose pink full of gold micro flecks, rose iridescent flakes, rose-gold micro flakes, scattered pink holo and gold shimmer.  It's a real beauty that transcends seasons!  I can imagine instances where I'd wear this in any of them actually!  I like how the gold shimmer really stands out against the pink, beautiful contrast.  Nice formula, it applied easily and smoothly.  I used 3 thin coats for full coverage and finished with topcoat.

Top Shelf Lacquer Pineapple Matte-rs is a stunning bright pink matte with pink and gold flakes.  This one is a total jaw-dropper and I adore the finish.  It had a great formula and applied perfectly.  I used 3 thin coats and used no topcoat.  You can use topcoat though if you want to show off that shimmer!

This was my first experience with Lollipop Lacquer Posse and I was very happy with it!  Eight Arms to Hold You is a beautiful blue-aqua crelly with pink shimmer and scattered holo sparkle.  I love the play of blue and pink together, always a favorite for me.  I also love the crelly finish of this one, shiny and squishy...totally lovely!  All good things in regards to the formal and application.  I used 3 thin coats plus topcoat.

And finally we have Fair Maiden Polish Passion Planet.  This one is a deep purple linear holo with magenta-orange/copper shifting flakes and a violet-red shifting flame.  I do love me some deep, dark holos!  This one is fantastic with it's added flakes!  Formula and application were both fabulous.  I used 2 coats and topcoat to finish.
