Lollipop Posse Lacquer; Which Witch Collection, Halloween 2018

Good evening friends!  How was your Sunday? I spent the morning on the soccer field trying not to stress myself out and go in to early labor. Mom of the goalie is not a fun cheerleading job! Also spent time boxing up stuff in the kids rooms since they will both be demo'd soon while we expand out hose for our ever growing family.  But it was a nice day with warm weather and a good breeze - definitely feeling more like Fall every day. Great time for me to start sharing Fall collection!  I want to stat with the Lollipop Posse Halloween, Which Witch collection!  It's a mash up of Karen's favorite witches from different stories, movies and shows.  And I've got the scoop on each one for you!  The Which Witch collection will be available 9/21 at 8pm EDT, they will $12 each.  The set will be available from 9/21 - 9/23 with free domestic shipping.  So let's jump in and see what we've got!

Let's start this off with Fruit of Everlasting Life, inspired by The White Witch from the Lion Witch and the Wardrobe.  As she is the cause for eternal snow in Narnia, a gorgeous silver-white jelly full of colorful shifty iridescent flakes and holo flakes is the perfect fit.  I absolutely get that frosty, cold vibe from this polish.  Formula and application were both great, I reached near opacity in 3 coats and finished with topcoat.

So Far Past Normal draws inspiration from Rowena, a character in Supernatural.  It's a stunning purple jelly full of silver holo flakes, and some intense shifty shimmer and flakes.  I see so many colors, violet, green, purple, blue.  A real beaut!  No issues with either formula or application.  3 coats plus topcoat to finish.

Here's my favorite of the collection, both because of the color and my love for this season of the show.  Dying To Light This Fire is a nod to Myrtle Snow from the AHS season Coven (the best season ever IMO).  It's a gorgeous orange jelly base with shifty iridescent flakes, red to orange UCC flakes, silver glitters and aurora pigment. So much going on and I love it all!  Such an interesting and unique color, I know it won't be for everyone but it is absolutely for me!  3 coats and topcoat to finish.  No problems with formula or application.

And here's Just As Sane As I Am, inspired by Luna Lovegood from the Harry Potter series.  She's such a wacky little witch and it makes her very endearing.  We've got a multichrome the shift that shows off rose gold, copper, green and purple.  There's also a nice helping of iridescent shifty flakes in a multitude of colors.  This one screams Autumn with it's variety of colors, I love that about it.  Fab formula and application.  No issues to report.  3 thin coats and topcoat to finish.

Another of my favorites, Such Tacky Little Hats.  The Witch of the Waste from Howl's Moving Castle I have seen this movie but it has been a very long time so I don't really remember it or this particular character...time to watch it again!  We've got a beautiful teal holo crelly with pink/green shifting aurora shimmer and pink/green UCC flakes.  I did find the formula on this one a little sheer but it's easy to overlook as it's just so damn beautiful.  I used 3 coats and finished with topcoat.  As a side note this would be the perfect polish if you are going to be Sully from Monsters Inc. for Halloween!

And last but not least is Child Is A Mouse.  The Grand High Witch from The Witches inspired this one and that is one of those movies that always freaked me out as a kid!  I can't wait to show it to mine and have them be equally freaked.  It's a perfectly witchy blackened teal jelly full of iridescent shifty flakes in a plethora of colors; copper/red/gold/green and pink/red/green.  It also has a nice helping of holo flakes.  Nothing to mention as far as problems with either formula or application.  3 coats and topcoat used.
