Zoya; Sunshine Summer 2018

Ok so Labor Day just passed, kids are all back to school but you know what?  The official last day of Summer isn't until 9/22 so I'm technically still "on time" with this post featuring the Zoya Sunshine Summer 2018 Collection!  Plus I feel like several of these shades will be great transitional and Fall colors for the next few months!  You can pick up any or all of the colors in the Sunshine Summer set for $10 each/$60 per half set.  Let's jump in and check them out!

Starting this party off with Delia, a medium toned purple creme.  Nice formula and application.  Creamy and opaque.  2 coats for full coverage.  But it didn't dry as shiny as I am used to when it comes to Zoya cremes so I added a layer of topcoat.

Saldana is a lovely iridescent blue topper with pink shimmer and aqua glitters.  The website says you can build this up on it's own but I imagine it would be a bit thick so I went ahead and layered it over Delia.  I was happy with the glitter payoff and the overall look of Saldana.  I only needed 1 coat.  Topcoat to finish.

Now we jump in to the pinks!  This is Missy, a a bubblegum pink creme.  It's a very pretty and fun color, but I did find the formula a bit streaky.  I used 2 coats and a layer of topcoat helped hide the unevenness.

Sandy is a Barbie pink and I adore the color!  Vibrant and cute, perfect shade to close out the Summer with!  But I did find it to be streaky, so unlike the typical Zoya formula!  I used 2 coats and finished with topcoat.

Elie is vibrant raspberry creme and another that I really, really love!  So saturated with color and a great formula to boot!  No problems with either formula or application here.  2 coats plus topcoat.

Karen is a fiery red creme.  If you love reds then this is going to be your jam!  It has some orange undertones so you know that drew me in (red-orange forever!).  Awesome color, awesome formula, awesome application.  No issues with anything and a glossy finish on it's own.  2 layers, no topcoat.  But this one did leave a little color behind on the skin around my nails.

Marigold, another red leaning more into the orange realm, is a packed full of a gold shimmer.  Hello beautiful!  This one is a jelly finish and probably my favorite of the collection.  I was concerned it would need a base color but it was very opaque on it's own.  2 layers of Marigold, no topcoat.  Formula and application were both fabulous.

Virginia is another beauty.  It's a deep peachy, coral creme.  Sadly, while I loved the color, I didn't love the formula.  It took 3 coats to level out and even still to my IRL eyes I could see streaks.  Topcoat used to help diminish the uneven areas.

Back to pink!  Minnie is a pink-coral shade creme.  I was just middle of the road on this color.  Thankfully the formula and application were both better than some of the others.  2 coats and no topcoat.

Clementine is n interesting contribution to the collection.  It's kind of a salmon shimmer but not really. It kind of reminds me of rose gold too. Anyway, whatever color it is I find it a bit dowdy.  I needed 3 coats for full coverage, no problems with formula or application.

Jack is a classy nude/taupe creme.  Love the neutral color, it will be so easy to wear for any occasion. Plus you can really snazz it up with some fun glitter or flakies.  Fabulous formula and application.  Glossy finish on it's own.  2 layers, no topcoat.

Last but not least is Nahla.  It's a golden iridescent topper.  So much sparkle, you really need to see this one in person!  It had great coverage with 1 coat, I was plenty pleased with the amount of bling it provided.  I used it over Jack and finished with topcoat.
