Zoya Entice Collection

Good evening fellow polish addicts.  I have the Zoya Entice Collection for you this warm (ok hot) night and maybe these cremes will raise your own body temperature just looking at them!  These cremes are amazingly creamy and smooth.  All 6 of them applied like a dream.  If you have a heavy hand I imagine they could all be one coaters for you, yet I tend to go light on coats so I used 2 layers for each set of pictures (unless otherwise noted).  I also didn't use any topcoat because they are all perfectly shiny on their own.  My photos are all in direct sunlight.  So let's jump in and check out the pictures of the fabulously cozy Fall colors that make up the Entice collection.

*PRESS SAMPLE*

Nyssa is a beautiful "milk chocolate brown" creme.  I love this classy shade of brown, it's absolutely perfect for the Fall season.  Doesn't it just remind you of a cozy sweater that you want to wrap up in?

Veronica is a "brilliant red wine" creme.  This shade is amazing.  It's vibrant but not overdone.  Veronica was extremely opaque and I only needed 1 coat for full coverage!

Margo is a "modern red plum" creme.  I'd definitely classify this as more of a pink berry shade, but it's still lovely.

Bring on the vamp...this is Claire.  Claire is a "warm, rich burgundy."  I am completely in love with this shade, it's so deep and rich, so luxurious.  It will be perfect to compliment so many Autumn outfits.

Genevieve is a "cool leather grey" creme.  This one took me by surprise because it actually has a very slight shimmer to it.  I am quite fond of this shade, it's neutral to match many other colors yet it's not a nude.

And lastly we have Ryan, a "classic indigo" creme.  It's actually a bit deeper than my pictures are showing - more of a navy shade.  This definitely reminds me of rich jewels.  This does cause a bit of skin staining so be careful when you paint and remove Ryan.

I picked out Till Death Do Us Part from the Toxic Love collection.  All the shades in this set are dark, vampy and seductive.  Till Death Do Us Part is described as a "dark magenta red nail polish with a heavy pink shimmer finish."  Such a gorgeous color and the shimmer is just WOW!  The formula was top notch and applied smooth and evenly.  I used 2 coats of Till Death Do Us Part to reach full coverage and it dried fairly shiny on it's own.  My pictures below are with no topcoat.  So after trying Till Death Do Us Part I am totally hankering to try out more polish from Precision Nail Lacquer!

Model City Polish Ghost Stories, Pour Me Another and Honeysuckle Cuticle Oil

Good morning dear readers.  I'm pleased to share a couple amazing polishes from Model City Polish with you today!  I haven't tried Model City Polish before and I find myself wondering why!?  Both of these polishes had an amazing formula and applied like butter.  Even right now I am taking little breaks to browse swatches of other colors in the shop!  Well let's jump on in to the review and you can tell me what you think about Model City Polish.  I also have a quick review of a mini Cuticle Oil at the end so stay tuned for that too!

Up first I have Ghost Stories, "a dark graphite grey holographic blend."  But it's so much more than just a graphite grey!  I love the scattered holo and flashes of purple in the flare.  The formula and application were both fantastic.  I used 2 coats of Ghost Stories for perfect coverage and 1 layer of topcoat to shine things up.  Ghost Stories is available for $8.50.

Here is Pour Me Another.  This was created for CosmoProf North America 2014, but luckily for all those who didn't go Nina also added it to her shop!  Pour Me Another is a "mixture of jelly and crelly wine colored blend with a hint of pink and then loaded with holographic goodness."  This is another color that it's truly gorgeous and I'm totally loving!  The scattered holo in Pour Me Another is a bit lighter.  The formula and finish were perfection.  I used 3 coats and no topcoat here.  Pour Me Another is available for $10.50.

I also have a Mini Cuticle Oil in Honeysuckle to share.  This is a 5 ml bottle and has a roller ball tip for easy and precise application.  Honeysuckle smells amazing, just like when you walk past a super fragrant bush of honeysuckle.  I have always loved that scent.  I actually browsed through the list of scents available!  Holy moly they sound amazing (and unique); Barbecue, Hot Fudge Brownie, Pumpkin Bread, Sugar Cookie, Tomato Leaf!  I found the rollerball applicator to be very easy to use and effective at dispensing the perfect amount of oil.  The oil rubbed in easily and absorbed quickly.  I was left with lightly scented and non-greasy, moisturized cuticles.  The Mini Cuticle Oil is $3.00.

Cupcake Polish Itsy Bitsy Teeny Bikini & New York

Good morning lovely readers!  This post makes me happy.  These Cupcake Polishes are so bright and fun and happy and they make me smile.  They also make me yearn for more of these fantastic bright neon colors!  It also makes me wonder what Sarah has up her sleeve for Fall and Halloween colors.  Several of the Best Summer Ever and American Beauty collections are available in the shop right now.  The Cupcake Polish holos are $13.00 each.  So take a gander at these 2 and mosey on over and see if anything grabs your eye!

Itsy Bitsy Teeny Bikini from the Best Summer Ever collection is a neon yellow linear holographic polish.  This baby is bright!  Get out your sunglasses!  I totally love this color!  Itsy Bitsy Teeny Bikini has a fantastic formula and application.  I used 3 coats for full coverage.  It did dry a bit dull but 1 layer of topcoat shined things up perfectly!

 *shade*

New York from the American Beauty collection is a turquoise blue linear holo.  New York is a beautiful shade of blue and has a nice strong holo flare.  There is a warning on the site that this could possibly stain because it's highly pigmented.  I followed my regular routine with 1 layer of base coat and had no problems.  New York had a wonderful formula and applied like butter.  I used 2 coats and 1 layer of topcoat.

I thought I'd share a little nail art I did using both Itsy Bitsy Teeny Bikini and New York together!  For my middle "art" nails I painted each nail halfway with one color then then other.  Before the polish dried I drew little swirls by dragging a toothpick through the wet polish.  If you want to see more needle marble art I'd suggest checking out Pointless Cafe - Sheila is a master of the art!  So I used about 2 coats of each color, and topped with topcoat after using the toothpick.

Zoya Ignite Collection

Good evening!  Stopping by with a post chalk full of gorgeous shimmery, metallic micro flakie Fall colors that make up the new Zoya Ignite Collection!  If you didn't order these yet you might want to go ahead and get the entire collection because they will 100% get you in the mood for everything Fall!  Thee polishes are available individually for $9 each of the entire set of 6 for $54.  The new collections are part of this but there is a BOGO going on!  Now through 8/24 use the code SBOGO *exclusions apply.*  Before I talk about the individual polishes let me just say that all 6 had amazingly creamy and smooth formulas.  They were opaque and had great coverage.  Each set of pictures shows 2 coats of the polish and NO topcoat.

*PRESS SAMPLE*

First up is Teigen, a "pink toned cranberry with a copper liquid metal."  I love the pink shade and the contrast of the copper/gold micro flakes.  It is a dazzler in the sunshine, but in the shade you can see it's depth.

One of my favorites in the Ignite collection, Autumn.  Autumn is a "varnished copper liquid metal."  Just look at how perfect this color is for the Fall season!  The gold micro flakes are a perfect compliment to the base color.   There is definitely a more metallic look in the sunshine and in the shade the depth is apparent.

Here is my top choice for the collection.  If you can only pick one this is the one I'd recommend.  India is a perfect color for the Fall but it will also work well with the luxe and lush fabrics and colors that come out every winter.  India is a "deep, luxurious red with gold liquid metal."  Such a gorgeous and rich color.

Sansa is another gorgeous color in this collection.  Sansa is a "deep eggplant with a gold metallic sparkle."  This color is very majestic.  I am a fan of gold and purple together so I think this really works.  In the shade it almost looks like a completely different color - which is equally gorgeous to it's sunshine look.

Yuna is a "warm grey with copper and gold liquid metal."  I kind of feel that it's more of a slate shade but that makes no difference on how lovely it is.  I am quite surprised with how well the copper and gold micro flakes work with the base.  I suppose it's another case of perfectly contrasting.

Finally we have Remy.  Remy is a "brilliant indigo with copper and gold liquid metallic."  My pictures did not capture the true color of Remy - it's more teal than blue in real life.  This is another very rich and luxurious shade - perfect for transitioning into Winter.  I only used 1 coat of Remy (one coater alert!).  But heed my warning, Remy is a skin stainer!  So apply carefully and use some vaseline around your nail beds before you remove it.
