When I returned from my holiday vacation I received an email. The email was from Rainbow Honey letting me know that I would be sent some PR samples for review. I was so excited for a couple reasons: I love doing reviews and the polishes in this collection are gorgeous! I was sent 2 out of the 3 that make up this collection and will be sharing XOXO and Sweet Talk with you now.
Sweet Talk is described as "A decadently sweet collection of pastel glitters in a white jelly with hidden shimmer." Such a perfectly fitting description. Now milky bases and white polishes are not my favorite and I wasn't expecting to like this one. But once I had it on I could not stop staring at it! I think because the polish is a jelly base it is so much easier to wear. Sweet Talk was indeed very delicate and soft, and not chalky at all (which I notice alot with white and pastel polishes). Application was great, lots of glitter came out with each brush dip. I used 2 coats of Sweet Talk and 1 layer of topcoat.
And now XOXO. This was the polish I was super excited to try and I was so glad it was in my package! XOXO is described as " A ravishing blend of glitters and flakes in a clear base for easy use over any manicure."Again, spot on description from Rainbow Honey. I tried XOXO over a couple colors, Rainbow Honey Ephemeral and Zoya Gei Gei. For both sets of pictures I used 2 layers of XOXO and topped it off with a layer of topcoat. It was easy to apply, plenty of glitter came out with each brush dip.
