Sweet Heart Polish Birthday Trio & Don't Touch My CAKE!
Good evening and sorry for the late post. I spent a lot of time outside today and enjoyed the warmer weather. It was supposed to be hotter than it actually was, and it was a bit overcast for most of the day, but it was still nice enough to be out there soaking it up. It was also a lovely day for a birthday! Cassandra from Sweet Heart Polish celebrated hers today and she released a special trio for the occasion! These are very pretty shimmery holos in nice bright shades that will surely make anyone feel cheerful. You can purchase these separately for $10 each or as a 3-piece set for $24. If you get the set you will also receive a bottle of Don't Touch My CAKE! for free. Don't Touch My CAKE is also available for individual purchase for $9.00. These are all available now. You ready to jump in and see birthday polish? Then let's do it!
Keeping My Wish Secret is a beautiful "blue linear holographic polish with silver micro holographic glitter." I also see some fuchsia shimmer in there - it's kind of shifty, very pretty! Keeping My Wish Secret was a little sheer on the first coat but it built up easily and to full coverage in 3 coats. No topcoat.
Next is 32? No, 29...Again. This is a lovely "purple linear holographic polish with silver micro holographic glitter." I really liked this cool toned purple. It's full of tiny sparkles that are fabulous! Formula and application of 32? No, 29...Again were both really great. I used 3 easy coats for full coverage. No topcoat.
Rounding out the trio is Hope It's Polish Or Wine, a stunning "pink linear holographic polish with silver micro holographic glitter." No surprise this one is my favorite, I'm a sucker for pink polish.
Hope It's Polish Or Wine was very creamy and opaque. It applied perfectly. I used 2 coats and no topcoat.
I did a little gradient with all 3 shades from the birthday trio! Turned out pretty cool if I do say so myself!
And then there was this...Don't Touch My CAKE! It's a "mix of pastel dots in a yummy shimmery crelly base." I completely agree with Cassandra that Don't Touch My CAKE! looks just like funfetti cake batter! It's full of a gorgeous blue shimmer that makes it so much more exciting than a plain glitter-crelly. This gave me a "my nails but better" look, not stark white, but white enough to have a clean finish. The crelly base is sheer enough to see my nail line still, but not too sheer if that makes sense. Of course I love circle glitters of any type so that made me happy. I used 4 coats and no topcoat.
