Baroness X Doomfire

Hello!  Today I am partaking in a group post to share a special polish that was created for a private fan group.  This beauty from Baroness X is called Doomfire.  This polish is full of a gorgeous shimmery pigment lovingly referred to as Unicorn Pee.  You may have seen it in the past in other polishes, but it's a hard to find pigment that is no longer made - thus all the brands (both mainstream and indie) that were making Unicorn Pee no longer are.  Sad times my friends.  Everyone needs a bottle of Unicorn Pee.  My fingers are crossed you happen upon one!  Let's jump in and check out Doomfire, and please make sure to check out everyone else's posts too!

Doomfire.  How do I describe you?  A sheer purple with vibrant magenta shimmer.  But wait there's more!  This is a color shifting beauty and that's the reason everyone goes ga-ga over the Unicorn Pee people!  You can wear Doomfire alone (which I did) or on top of a base color (which many others did).  But you know I'm a fan of showing you how things truly look so you know what you're getting.  So yes this is sheer, yes you can see my nail line, but hot damn look at that shimmer!  It's amazing!  I think I had on 4 or 5 coats of Doomfire so don't expect this to build up to opacity.  I finished with topcoat.

Oh the unicorn ring.  The Doomfire orders went out with a unicorn ring, some rainbow candles and rainbow files.  So I decided to pose with my unicorn.  It wasn't until a few days later that I noticed how funny my unicorn was with his crooked, phallic horn.  I hope he doesn't offend you!  He's still cute with his black gemstone eye!
