Sea Lore Polish; Balboa Sights & Sweets Collection

Good afternoon beauties!  Hope you're enjoying your wonderful day.  Monday isn't always that bad, right?!  It's slightly better when you get to think about the upcoming Summer, beach days, boardwalk, rides, food treats.  Well today I have a fun, boardwalk-themed collection from Sea Lore Polish.  I love this collection because colors are great, almost sun-bleached shades, that I feel capture how washed out colors can look when you're in the bright sun near the beach.  The Boardwalk is one of my favorite places to go in the Summer months, it's so fun to walk around eat all the different food and go on rides.  The Balboa Sights & Sweets Collection dropped last Friday and all of them are available now for $10 each!  There is one Limited Edition in the collection so be sure to grab it!  Alright, let's jump in and check it out!

Let's start with Snow Cones & Skeeball.  It's a soft, cherry red full of silvery shimmer with a metallic-esque finish.  Formula and application were both great.  I used 3 thin coats and finished with topcoat.

Cotton Candy Carousel is an azalea pink with a metallic finish.  I love how this pink is pastel, but not really pastel.  It's actually a great representation of cotton candy!  Formula and application were both great.  I did find it a bit more sheer, as you can see by my nail line, but it didn't bother me.  I used 3 coats and finished with topcoat.

Here's Fun Zone Frozen Bananas.  Have you ever had a frozen banana?  Dipped in chocolate, ruled in chopped nuts.  OhEmGee, so delicious.  I also love the banana yellow shade of this polish!  It's full of silvery shimmer which gives it a bit of a metallic sheen.  Formula and application were both good.  I didn't let the polish dry enough before I applied topcoat so that's why you see some funkiness on my middle user error.  I used 3 coats and finished with topcoat.

Tickets & Taffy is a bright jade green full of shimmery particles giving it a bit of a metallic look.  I am super digging this shade of green!  It's going to get heavy use in my Summer rotation.  Formula and application were both great.  I used 3 coats and topcoat for shine.

Rides & Rock Candy is a sugary sweet bright azure with metallic finish.  Another really great shade that is sure to please all the blue lovers out there.  The finish is heavily shimmered, which gives it a touch of a metallic feel.  Formula and application were awesome.  I use 3 coats for full coverage and topcoat for a shiny finish.

The last one in the collection is Balboa Bars & Bumper Cars.  This is a white crelly full of rainbow glitters in matte finish.  There's also a very subtle touch of shimmer in there.  This is the only Limited Edition shade in the collection so if you love it don't wait around too long to pick it up!  I use 3 coats and found the formula and application to both be fabulous.  I finished with topcoat to smooth things out and add some shine.
