Stella Chroma November Polish Pickup Exclusive: Badass Beekeeper & Rosemary Mint Emulsified Sugar Scrub

Hey hey hey!  Sitting here in the local Starbucks having snacks with 2 of my kids while we wait for Noah to finish up his soccer practice.  It's kind of fun to do this, we bring books and homework and get shit done!!  The kids like it because then they can play at night instead of worry abut homework.  And Julian is feeling better today, less sore and less hobbly than yesterday.  And he liked wearing his slippers to school and showing off the picture of his stitches.  But let's talk about nail polish and the Polish Pickup!  It's open THIS Friday and the theme is Badass Women.  Stella Chroma picked one of the most badass women I personally know - the one and only Courtney from 6 Harts.  Badass Beekeeper will be available from 11/2-11/5 for $12 and there is no cap.  Pam typically donates a portion of proceeds to an organization that supports girls furthering education in STEM fields and will continue that by donating $1 per bottle to Girls Who Code AND a $1 donation directly to Courtney to help her with medical costs as she goes through her treatments.  There is also an amazing new Emulsified Sugar Scrub in Rosemary Mint scent - so fresh, so clean, so much like a bountiful garden!  It will be $5.50 for a 2.5oz jar, no cap.  $0.50 from each scrub will be donated to Courtney. So let's get to the post and check these products out!

Pahlish CPNA Exclusive Casino Oasis

Good morning!  I have a gorgeous exclusive polish to share with you today!  Sadly that means it's not available to you as it was from CosmoProf BUT there are a zillion other amazing polishes available at the Pahlish shop so you will definitely find something to love!  Pahlish is a brand that I was familiar with but hadn't had a chance to really try out yet.  I am kicking myself for not trying it sooner, ugh.  The good news is she sent me home with a couple others polishes to test drive so I'll have that post up soon!  By the way the maker behind the brand - Shannon, is a total doll!  Super cute and sweet lady that was a blast to talk to and hang out with.  I feel so fortunate that I was able to meet Shannon and so many other indie makers recently.  I had to reign in my fan-girling so they didn't think I was nutso.  Ok, let's jump on in and check out this amazing polish!

Pahlish: Shop, Facebook, Instagram

Casino Oasis is amazing.  I love the taupe-brown, slightly mauve-ish color that it flashes in the sunlight.  The holo is nice and strong.  But that's not all!  There are these fabulous black/purple flakies in the polish that add some interest.  You can see them pretty clearly in the indoor photos.  I think it's a perfect touch to make this already fantastic holo a unique holo!  The formula and finish of Casino Oasis were both great!  The formula was easy to work with and applied perfectly on my nails.  I used 3 coats of Casino Oasis and no topcoat for my pictures.

Enchanted Polish Vampires Suck

Good morning dear!  It's freezing cold over here and I am dreading getting dressed for the kids soccer games.  I'm not ready to climb out of bed and stand in the cold and get my feet soaked in the wet grass.  Alas, that's the life of a soccer mom.  So I am going to make this a quick post so I can get my kids in their uniforms and out the door!  I was fortunate enough to snag a few pretties at the recent Enchanted Polish restock.  Today I will share one of the Halloween releases!  It's not completely what I expected but I still really liked it.  You can follow Enchanted Polish on Facebook and Instagram (enchantedpolish - Chelsea shows her newest creations that will be available for purchase here).  You can purchase from the SHOP.  Be sure to sign up for email notifications so you don't miss out on restocks!

Here we have Vampires Suck.  It's a very pretty dark brown holo that shows some undertones of red, purple and charcoal.  I tried to get as many pictures as possible to show how different lighting shows this polish.  Overall I think it's a gorgeous color but when I think of vampires I don't think brown.  I think red, blackened red or the deepest burgundy.  The formula was fantastic.  So creamy and lush.  I used 3 coats (only needed 2 but used an extra for good measure).  It applied perfectly.  The linear holo is very pretty - obvious at times and subtle at others.  I finished with 1 layer of topcoat and the holo wasn't effected.

Smitten Polish Turning Leaves Tree-O: Zelda's Fall-ly, I Never Drink…Wine & Cocoa & Cardis

Good morning lovelies!  I have a gorgeous trio of holos to show you today.  I had seen swatches of  the Turning Leaves Tree-O go by on my Facebook feed and just knew I had to start stalking.  So stalk I did and I caught the pre-sale and now they are mine, bwahahahah!  This is my first time trying Smitten Polish and I am very impressed.  The colors are rich and unique.  The formula was so easy to apply it practically did it without any effort on my part.  It's definitely a brand I will be purchasing from again!  If you are interested in buying Smitten Polish you can do so on their Etsy page.  You can also follow Smitten on Facebook.

Please don't be mad but the first one I am showing you is no longer available.  Zelda's Fall-ly was a limited edition and I'm glad I decided I needed the trio and not just 1 or 2.  I truly would have been pouty if I didn't have this beauty in my possession.  The creator behind Smitten describes Zelda's Fall-ly as "a warm, bright orange-leaning linear holographic polish.  She appears as more of a true red in direct sunlight."  I didn't see any orange but the red is stunning!  I found it to be one of the easiest reds to wear with easy application and clean up.  The formula was simply amazing.  I used 2 coats of Zelda's Fall-ly and 1 layer of topcoat for the pictures below.

Up next is I Never Drink…Wine.  This was actually the one that caught my eye when initially saw the trio.  I was smitten (pun intended).  I've been quite obsessed with holos in this red wine color and I don't see the obsession stopping any time soon.  I Never Drink…Wine is perfect.  I adore the color.  It is simply described as a "deep wine-colored linear holographic polish."  Another amazing formula/application here.  I used 2 coats of INDW and 1 layer of topcoat.

Finally we have Cocoa & Cardis.  At this moment it's the only one available in the Smitten shop.  If you love it get it now.  I love it.  Alot.  Dark chocolatey brown and linear holo is a huge win in my book.  The color on Cocoa & Cardis is amazing.  Deep and rich, can't you just taste the chocolate?  Doesn't it make you want to wrap up in your favorite cozy cardigan?   2 big yes's for me.  Just like the last 2, application and formula were perfect.  Lovely and smooth flowing polish that really makes you feel amazing when it's on your nails!  I used 2 coats of C&C and 1 layer of topcoat.
