Good evening dears! Sorry for the radio silence over the weekend. I find that my family's love of soccer pretty much takes over and if I'm not at one of the 3 kids games I'm at one of my own. Next weekend will be even more hectic as my boys will be in their first ever tournament! I'm very excited for them. But since I have some time between now and when my next game starts I thought I'd share some pretty pretty polish with you! I know you're familiar with Serum No 5 - who isn't?! Her glow in the dark polishes are AMAZING! I need to buy them all! Well Victoria also does glitters, creme and holos like nobodies business. Let's jump on in and see what I've got for you tonight.
*PRESS SAMPLE*
Up First I have Pretty Blue (there are only 3 left and it's on sale for $7!!). Pretty Blue is a nice blend of "blue and purple glitters in a clear base." Actually the purple glitters seem more fuchsia to me, but the combination is lovely. There are also some iridescent micro flakies in there to create a multidimensional effect. The first coat was a little thin glitter wise but the second coat really made a difference and the turn out was a perfect amount of glitter on my nails. The formula and application were both great. I have on 2 coats of Pretty Blue over Elevation Polish Yeti Finds An Oasis.
This is Flashing Lights. HOW cool does this look!? Flashing Light is described as a "shimmering sliver topcoat." I'll admit I tried this on before and wasn't successful with it. I had put on too many coats trying to get it opaque. Flashing Lights works best as 1 layer, no topcoat. On it's own it just looks like a dulled out sparkly topcoat that you would put over a base color. Nothing particularly eye catching. But with the flash of a bright light (think flash pictures with a camera, nightclubs, Vegas, etc...) it's a totally new game! Flashing Lights looks like reflective tape or the stripes on the road that light up when your car lights hit them. Very cool effect. Sadly I am just a boring old mom so this likely won't get to be shown off like it deserves. I have on 1 layer of Flashing Lights and no topcoat. Flashing Lights is $14.50 and you can sign up to be on the waitlist for it.
