Good evening! Hopefully it's not too late for you lovelies...but I completely understand if you are already headed to bed for your beauty rest. My day has been full of blog stuff, mostly prepping, and I'll be doing some swatching soon. But I just had dinner and am about to start up a pumpkin pie/cheesecake bar desert for a potluck tomorrow. So I decided to take a little rest while things digest and enjoy the fireplace for a few. I figured it was a good time for you to get comfy and hunker down for a long post! Tonight I have the Colors by Llarowe Winter 2015 collection on my blog. This is a 12-piece collection, almost all holo, definitely all gorgeous. The Winter Collection will be available for pre-order on 11/23 from 12pm to 8pm MDT. These will be $12 USD each. Now grab your cocoa (or coffee, or tea, or water, or wine) and let's jump in to the post!

Up first is If You Dare. Wow, I was stunned right out of the gates! It's a "deep hot pink fuchsia intense linear holo with intense violet flame." Perfect color, perfect formula, prefect application. Full coverage can easily be reached in 1 coat, but I wanted absolute full richness so I went with 2. I finished with a layer of topcoat.
Breathless will absolutely leave you that way. I am a sucka for vampy polish and this baby fits the bill. It's a "deep magenta red crelly base packed with red to gold shifting shimmer." This is a pretty fantastic jelly. I love when the cover fully but still have that squishy shine to them! Fabulous formula and application was wonderful. I used 2 coats and finished with a layer of topcoat.
Of red, you are my true love! Santa Baby is a "medium neutral red intense linear holo with red flame and red sparkle." So classy and Christmassy! But really it's a perfect red to wear anytime of the year! I totally dig the little holo glitters in here - they add just the right amount of interest. Formula and application were both stupendous. I used 2 coats and finished with a layer of topcoat.
Another deep, vampy beauty is Berries In The Snow. This is a "blackened berry wine intense linear holo." Humina humina humina! This is one sexy polish and definitely one of my top picks fro the collection. Formula and application were both stellar. Also - this beauty was a one coater! So I used 1 coat and finished with a layer of topcoat.
And now one for the purple lover! Plum Perfect is a "medium plum fuchsia intense linear holo with blue flame." This is a really nice shade and I found the flame pretty mesmerizing. Formula and applicant were great! I used 2 coats for full coverage and a layer of topcoat.
Dun dun dun dun dun dun dun, ice ice baby, alright stop collaborate and listen. Ok sorry. Ice Ice Baby is also the name of this polish and it's pretty fitting! This "medium sky blue intense linear holo with blue and turquoise flame" is very chilly and cool. Reminds me of one of those pictures of a gorgeous blue frozen lake. Formula and application were both wonderful. No issued to mention. I used 2 coats and finished with a layer of topcoat.
Alright, the next few polishes were a but difficult for me to capture. So the color is inaccurate, but as close as I could get. Peacock Parade is a "deep blue toned soft linear holo." While my pictures are more blue than the actual color, the formula is something I can definitely attest to. Both were amazing! Another 1-coater! I finished with a layer of topcoat.
Another one that I had a hard time capturing is Jewel Of Denial. It's an "emerald green with slight blue undertone linear holo with aqua flame." This color is actually pretty dang fabulous and I love that it's an unexpected shade for the Holiday (because I think of straight up blue, red, green, white, silver, gold...the usual line up). Formula and application were great (I promise I'm not a robot stuck on repeat here). Topped it with a layer of topcoat.
Tree of Lights is the last one I really had trouble with. Not in terms of formula or application, but in capturing the rich, beautiful color. This is a "Christmas green scattered holo with multi sized holo glitters." I found the formula to be a bit jelly-ish. It works well with the glitters. This polish is such a perfect representation of a glittering Christmas tree! Formula and application were both fabulous. I used 2 coats and finished with a layer of topcoat.
Well now my skin is a bit green/blue so you'll have to excuse that. #bloggerproblems Hot Buttered Rum is very much my jam. It's a "nude scattered glow holo with golden yellow flame." This is a perfect example of why I love nude holos so much. It's stunning! And the scattered holo is a perfect finish - the color is not overwhelmed and it ends up with a brushed metal type finish! Formula and application were both awesome. Very opaque and creamy. I used 1 coat and a layer of topcoat.
Fairy Dust is a "white jelly scattered holo with multi sized holo shimmer and micro glitter." This is so ethereal and lovely. I found the formula a bit thinner than the others in this collection, but with a jelly formula that's pretty normal. I still had a little visible nail line when I'd finished painting. Aside from that, there were no issues with either the formula or application. I used 3 coats and a layer of topcoat.
