Cuccio Royale Collection, Fall 2015

Good morning friends!  I've got a good and somewhat lengthy post for you today.  Way back when I was having the time of my life in Las Vegas and rubbing elbows with all the nail polish peeps, I got to meet some lovely folks representing the Cuccio brand.  Now I knew this brand already because I am a fan of their body butters and cuticle sticks.  I also knew they made polish because I'd seen a few of their gels in my local beauty supply store.  Well what I wasn't expecting was to see this (and another) stunning collection displayed at the Tips & Sips event!  The Royale Collection is Cuccio's answer to the Fall season and it's pretty dang perfect!  Rich cremes, shimmery jewel tones and even a multichrome!  While browsing around the Cuccio website I wasn't able to find this collection, but I did see it available on HB Beauty Bar for $8.50 each.  But keep checking the Cuccio website because I'm sure the Royale collection will be available soon.

This is a long post so I'll try to keep each individual blurb short and sweet.  This is Count Me In, a smokey, purple creme.  The formula was creamy and buttery.  I had full coverage in 1 coat of Count Me In.  No topcoat used.

That's So Knightly is a classy true red creme.  I am a sucker for red and this one had a fabulous formula.  Again, application was buttery and creamy.  1 coat of That's So Knightly and no topcoat.

Wild Knights is a dark slate blue, bordering on navy, creme.  Nothing unique to say here, creamy, buttery, smooth, perfect formula.  Application was a breeze.  I used 1 coat of Wild Knights and no topcoat.

Prince I've Been Gone is a dark teal-leaning green creme.  As usual, I had a hard time capturing this color (as I do with all teals).  The actual color is more green than blue.  The formula and application were a little more sheer here so I used 2 coats of Prince I've Been Gone.  I also wanted to give a warning that this could possibly be a stainer.  I did have a bit of staining around my cuticles.

And now we've got the shimmers!  Dancing Queen is a shimmery indigo blue.  I could see copper and pink sparks in the bottle but that didn't really translate to the nail, though I still did like the color. Formula and application were both great.  No issues to report.  2 coats of Dancing Queen and no topcoat.

Here's a gorgeous shimmer coffee brown shade called Duke It Out.  This color is warm and cozy and as a matter of fact I could go for a warm cup of coffee right now!  Formula and application were both fabulous.  1 coat of Duke It Out for full coverage and no topcoat.

Here's Royal Flush.  This rusty red shimmer is definitely one of my favorites of the collection.  Nothing but warm and fuzzy feelings about this polish.  Awesome formula and application.  I used 1 coat of Royal Flush for full coverage and no topcoat.

Last but not least is Crown Jewels, a coppery-golden-green shifty duochrome polish.  Crown Jewels is slightly sheer but it built up great.  This is a fun one, if you don't have any duochromes yet I suggest you pick this up!  It's so fun to see the color shift when you move your fingers around.  I used 2 coats of Crown Jewels and no topcoat.
