Beauty Review: Born Pretty Store Magic Lip Mask Lip Tattoo Tint

Howdy all.  Sitting here in gymnastics, watching my littlest little be awesome and strong.  I watch her in equal parts amazement and horror as she climbs the rope to the ceiling to hit the flag.  In my entire life I've never been strong enough to do that.  Anywho...I figured what better time to type up a post to share than now.  I had some credits earned up over at Born Pretty and since I always review nail products I thought it would be fun to try out some makeup items!  I've tried 2 out of 3 lip products so far and like them both.  This post is about the new peel off lip stain that hit the scene a short while back.  I can't be bothered with reapplying lipstick every 30 minutes so I do like to test different lippies out for wear time.  You can purchase this Magic Lip Mask Lip Tattoo Tint from BaLaLa HERE for $3.61 and don't forget you can save 10% using my code JTOW10.  There are 5 shades available.  Now let's check it out.

OPI Luxurious, Indulgence and Lynnderella Punkkin Pie

Good morning all!  Taking a step back from blue polish (I've been posting a lot of it haven't I?) and bringing you a gorgeous combination of red, orange and glitter!  I am a true red-orange lover and I basically adore any glitter combination that is Fall themed.  So these OPI DS colors and the Lynnderella glitter were right up my alley!  The great news is that all 3 of these colors are available right now.  OPI is available at many beauty supply stores and you can follow them on Facebook and Instagram (opi_products).  Lynnderella polish is available at lynnderella.com.  You can follow Love Lynnderella on Facebook and Instagram (lovelynnderella).

I started this with OPI DS Indulgence on my thumb, index and pinky.  This is from the Fall 2012 collection and you know how I love anything Fall themed.  Well this is gorgeous.  Indulgence is a pink-red shade with heavy gold shimmer.  It's borderline metallic finish!  It had amazing application and formula.  I had rich color and full coverage in 2 coats.  I then sponged OPI DS Luxurious on the tips of those same fingers.  Luxurious is one of those "on fire" shades that I simply adore.   It's an orange-red with heavy gold shimmer.  Again it has a metallic type finish.  It applied easily and I had really great coverage considering I used a sponge to apply it!  Then I put OPI Espresso Your Style on my middle and ring fingers.  EYS is a chocolatey brown with shimmer.  I used 2 coats for full coverage and it's a very pretty shade but you can barely see it under Lynnderella Punkkin Pie!  Punkkin Pie is a fun Fall glitter mix with hearts, moons and stars in a heavy shimmered, yellow tinted base that was released in the Thanksgiving 2013 Twinset.  It's a pretty mix of colors and glitter shapes.  I wish the shimmer was a bit lighter, but on the positive I have a feeling 3 coats could provide full coverage on it's own!  I used 2 coats and application was great.  I finished with 1 layer of topcoat.

Jamberry Nails, Zoya Godiva and Julie G Sugar Rush

I have another Jamberry Nail wrap to show off today!  This one is quite fun.  I decided to try out a couple of my texture polishes that coordinated with the wrap.

I'll start by saying I think the lighter color of the wrap shows more imperfections.  So if you are new to nail wraps like I am maybe stick to darker colors as they seem to hide any application flaws?  I applied this wrap exactly as I had the last one….clean and dry nails, match up the wrap to the finger nail it would match, use a heat source to soften the wrap, place on nail, press down all over nail, trim, file excess and use heat again while pressing down some more.

To coordinate I used 2 coats of Zoya Godiva on my index and thumb.  I love this sandy nude color.  It's really flattering and gorgeous.  I also used 2 coats of Julie G Sugar Rush from the new Gumdrops collection.  Sugar Rush is kind of coral, kind of red-orange, all kinds of pretty.  Sugar Rush is on my ring and pinky fingers.  No topcoat used on any nails.

If you'd like more information about Jamberry Nails, check out my friend Ashley's shop, Facebook page and blog to learn more about the brand!
