Ever After Polish February Polish Pickup Exclusive; Melt in Your Mouth

Well hello there!  What's this?  An oldie Polish Pickup shade!  So if memory serves, February was the "Sugar Rush" themed month and Ever After was inspired by these lovely pastel mint colored candy bars.  She came up with Melt In Your Mouth.  Again, my apologies for sharing a polish that is no longer available, but you might get lucky and find this one on the PPU BST page or in a de-stash.  Keep your eyes peeled.  So let's jump in and check out this minty beauty!

Stella Chroma February Polish Pickup Exclusive: Chocolate Orange Emulsified Sugar Scrub

Evening all!  Did you watch the Super Bowl?  I didn't care which way it went and found it quite a snooze fest (yes, even the half time show) but I will admit that last minute was pretty exciting.  Anywho, I do know that Brady got a slice of humble pie.  But I'd rather have a slice of a chocolate orange!  But since that wasn't one of the snacks on my table I'll settle for this emulsified sugar scrub that was inspired by the candy.  Stella Chroma does a great job with her scrub scents, they are never overpowering and are always pleasant scents.  This one was a really yummy scent actually, I wanted to lick it.  You can only purchase a 2.5oz jar of the Chocolate Orange sugar scrub through the Polish Pickup and it's available for one more day (2/5).  Let's jump in to the post!

ellagee February Polish Pickup Exclusive: Truly Scrumptious

Good morning friends and happy humpday!  I slept awful, I stayed up late watching scary shows. Destination America has really upped their game with the paranormal viewing options.  I don't scare easy and I don't know what it was about these shows (or the night) but I was genuinely terrified.  Remember when you were a kid and had to sleep with your entire face except your nose covered by the blanket?  Oh no? That was just me?  Or taking a running start and jumping on to your bed so nothing could grab you from underneath?  Just me again?  Ok fine, moving on... Let's talk about the last Polish Pickup polish shade I have to share with you today.  This beauty is from ellagee and was inspired by the movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.  Truly Scrumptious will be available from 2/2 - 2/5 and will be $11.  So let's delve in to the post and check out the polish!

6 Harts February Polish Pickup Exclusive: Raspberry Ice

Good evening!  I stayed up late last night playing on the Internet, being a night owl.  I think I'm super worn down from parenting and have been mentally trying to escape the drama.  I've been fighting to keep my eyes open most of the day and my stomach is making crazy noises and you guyyyyyys I'm a mess!  I think I need to take that Nap-ersize class I've seen floating around Facebook, I bet I'd be really good at that.  The other thing I already know I'm really good at is eating sweets.  And I would eat this Raspberry Ice polish in a heartbeat if it were edible!  This is another fabulous polish that will be available during the February Sugar Rush themed Polish Pickup.  6 Harts was a super popular one last month and ended up selling out after the first day.  So if you are digging Raspberry Ice you should probably add it to your cart right away so you don't have regrets!  Raspberry Ice will be available from 2/2 - 2/5 and is $10.  It is capped at 200 bottles.   Let's get to it and see this gorgeous polish!

Valentine's Nails with Lumina Lacquer No Ordinary Love & Ninja Polish Ambrosia

Good afternoon (early evening?)!  How about a Valentine's mani?  This mani made me so happy - I wore it for 4 days with barely any wear and tear what so ever!  All the polish I used was absolutely fabulous and high quality and I loved them all to pieces!  I used a mix of indie, mainstream and drugstore brands to create this look.   Now that I think of it I used 6 polishes total in this mani!  Let's look at it shall we?

Ninja Polish: Shop, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter

Alright, I'll try to keep this short so you can see pictures.  I started with Ninja Polish Ambrosia on my middle finger and thumb.  Ambrosia is a gorgeous red with a pink undertone and loads of red and gold color shifting shimmer.  I used 3 coats of Ambrosia to reach maximum color richness.  I used China Glaze Dandy Lyin' Around on my ring and pinky nails.  Dandy Lyin' Around is a white base with tiny silvery flakes.  I used 2 coats of Dandy Lyin' Around.  I topped these nails with Lumina Lacquer No Ordinary Love.  Wow!  I love this glitter polish!  Red, pink and red-orange colored matte glitters in hex, circle, star and heart shapes!  I used 2 coats of No Ordinary Love and the glitter pay-out was huge.  The glitter came out easily and spread evenly on my nails.  With a good thick layer of topcoat my nails were nice a smooth to the touch.  Lastly I decided to do a texture gradient on my index finger nail.  I put OPI Solitaire (white with silvery glitter sparkles) and Magazine Cover Mouse (red with fuchsia and gold glitter sparkles)  on a sponge and applied it to my nail.  I did this about 2 or 3 times to get full color coverage.  I thought the red was too pink toned so I added Julie G Sugar Rush to the top and loved how it gave a red-orange color with some serious gold sparkle factor!  I used 1 layer of topcoat on all nails except the texture nail.

Jamberry Nails, Zoya Godiva and Julie G Sugar Rush

I have another Jamberry Nail wrap to show off today!  This one is quite fun.  I decided to try out a couple of my texture polishes that coordinated with the wrap.

I'll start by saying I think the lighter color of the wrap shows more imperfections.  So if you are new to nail wraps like I am maybe stick to darker colors as they seem to hide any application flaws?  I applied this wrap exactly as I had the last one….clean and dry nails, match up the wrap to the finger nail it would match, use a heat source to soften the wrap, place on nail, press down all over nail, trim, file excess and use heat again while pressing down some more.

To coordinate I used 2 coats of Zoya Godiva on my index and thumb.  I love this sandy nude color.  It's really flattering and gorgeous.  I also used 2 coats of Julie G Sugar Rush from the new Gumdrops collection.  Sugar Rush is kind of coral, kind of red-orange, all kinds of pretty.  Sugar Rush is on my ring and pinky fingers.  No topcoat used on any nails.

If you'd like more information about Jamberry Nails, check out my friend Ashley's shop, Facebook page and blog to learn more about the brand!
