Good afternoon! Ready for more Halloween polish? I've said it once and I'll say it at least a thousand more times, Halloween is my favorite holiday and my favorite polish season! I think all the brands come up with such fun and unique blends for this holiday - there's definitely an "anything goes " mentality. You can literally get away with wearing any possible color combination your heart desires. So today I have the Sweet Heart Polish Halloween 2014 Collection for you. If you take a look at these polishes on the shop site you will see these are updated versions of colors released last year so I suppose it's a Halloween 2.0 (or revised) collection. So let's jump in and take a look at these so you have time to pick some out and order them in time for the big spooky day/night!

Holo-Scare 2.0 is a "dark dusty purple linear holographic." This is a real beauty. I love the dusty look to it, it makes it a unique purple holo in my collection. Formula and application were both fabulous. I used 2 coats of Holo-Scare 2.0 for full coverage and no topcoat.

Really Scary Scare O'Lantern is a "beautiful orange linear holographic polish with orange holographic glitter." I adore this coppery-orange color! This polish really has a lot going on, it looks like a shimmer indoors, yet it's a holo in the sunlight AND it's full of those lovely orange holo micro glitters! Yup, that's a lot of pumpkin orange goodness going on! Really Scary Scare O'Lantern was sheer on the first coat but built up perfectly. I used 3 coats of Really Scary Scare O'Lantern and no topcoat.

Minty Mouse is a cute and refreshing mix of "gray, pale yellow, and mint glitter with mint mouse heads in a crelly base." I like that Cassandra went out of this box with this Halloween mix and picked something lighter and softer. And how cute are the mint colored mouse heads?! Formula and application of Minty Mouse were both fine. Plenty of glitters including the mouse heads came out with no digging required. It wasn't until I looked at my pictures later that I noticed the glitter looks slightly lumpy. I'd attribute that to thicker glitters in a very thin crelly base. Like I said before, I had zero application issues or problems with the formula. So I'd suggest using 2 layers of topcoat or a nice think gel topcoat to smooth things over for perfectly smooth nails. I used 3 coats of Minty Mouse and 1 layer of topcoat.

Just SCREAM Some More is a "glitter topper with a mix of black holographic glitter with purple skull and crossbones and neon yellow and blue glitter." Yeah, I've been waiting for some awesome Halloween glitter toppers and this totally quenches that desire. I love the shapes and holo micro glitter, the colors are perfect. It's packed full of fun stars, triangles, hexs and skulls! I started with 2 coats of OPI Rumples Wiggin' as a base and put 2 coats of Just SCREAM Some More on top. Just SCREAM Some More and a perfect formula and applied like a dream. The glitter came out easily and in plenitude. It spread nicely on my nails and the assortment of glitter on each nail was great. I finished with 1 layer of topcoat.

Last but not least - yeah, you know me...I always save my favorite for last. Small Scary Delight is a"glitter topper with purple miniature diamonds and a mix of orange holographic and iridescent glitter." I love this teeny tiny diamonds, they are the cutest things ever. I started with 2 coats of Orly Liquid Vinyl as a base and layered 2 coats of Small Scary Delight over. Formula and application were fantastic. So much glitter and it spread perfectly on my nails. I finished with 1 layer of topcoat for shiny, smooth nails.
