Christmas Mani with KBShimmer Christmas Red and Green Plaid Santa Water Slide Decals & Kind Of A Big Dill

Good morning and Merry Christmas!  I am indeed still vacationing but I figured I'd pop on with a festive post to share with you today.  Plus I'd feel bad not sharing a holiday post or wishing all my beautiful readers a Merry Christmas, so here I am!  I'll keep is short and sweet, I promise.  No dilly dallying, let's jump on in and check out this easy but adorable mani I have to share with you!

I had some holiday water slide decals to try and didn't want them to end up sitting around until next year so here's what I did!  I started with this super cute Christmas Red Green Plaid Santa Water Slide Decal set from KBShimmer.  I know these are meant to look like ugly sweaters but  I'd totally wear them if they were real sweaters!  Cutest prints ever!  And they mis-match just perfectly.

So I started with a layer of white as my base.  While that dried completely I cut out the decals I wanted.  I trimmed them just a little so they would fit my nail shape/size better.  Plopped them into a cup of water to sit for 10+ seconds (more like 20-30) and they slide or peel right off the backing.  Use your fingers of tweezers to place and move the decals around to get them just right.

I used KBShimmer Kind Of A Big Dill as my accent nails - the perfect sparkly Christmas green to accent the sweater patterns. Love love love!  I finished up with a layer of topcoat on all nails and BOOM!  Easy Christmas nails - no fuss no muss and no time wasted so you can spend more of that precious time eating, drinking and being merry!  And with that I'm off, Merry Christmas all!  XOXO!
