Good evening dears! I can't believe December is well under way and I'm no where near ready for Christmas or my upcoming vacation! Can I start panicking now?! If you're feeling like me let's stop, take deep breaths and think about what's really important. Ok, better? Now if that didn't work let me distract you with a gorgeous, limited edition collection from Nail Hoot. The Bible Stores collection released on 12/1 and won't be around long! So I'll tell you know that if you fall in love with any (or all) of these act quickly to acquire them. The pigment used is in short supply and once it's gone, so will be these polishes. The Bible Stories collection consists of 4 shimmery holos in gorgeous shades. This is my favorite release from Nail Hoot - the colors are all breath taking. The Bible Stories collection is available now and each polish is $9 USD or you can pick up the 4-piece set for $34.20. So let's jump in and enjoy these beauties!
Let's start with Jonah And The Big Fish, inspired by the story of Jonah who was swallowed by a great fish repented for 3 days while inside the fish. This is a light, icy blue holo full of pink shimmer. This color is gorgeous. The formula is a bit sheer but I think it works with the color. Reminds me of thin ice. Jonah And The Big Fish applied easily with no issues. I used 3 coats and finished with a layer of topcoat.
Betrayed By A Kiss is a mauve holo. Wow, I love it so much! This one is inspired by story in which Judas betrayed Jesus by kissing him, thus identifying him to those who arrested him. I found the formula and application of Betrayed By A Kiss to be perfect! Creamy, opaque, I had full coverage in 2 coats. I finished with a layer of topcoat.
Parting Of The Red Sea is inspired by the story in which Moses used his staff to part the red sea so he and his people could escape pursuit. This color, umphf, amazing! I'd say it's a rusty red holo, a little bit shifty, a lot bit gorgeous. The formula and application of Parting Of The Red Sea were both stellar. I used 2 coats and finished with a layer of topcoat.
Finally we have The Olive Branch, inspired by story of Noah's Ark and the great flood. Noah sent a dove out to find land, the dove returned with an olive branch and Noah knew the flood was at it's end. Of course this is a dark green holo and it's fabulous! The formula and application of The Olive Branch were also amazing. No issues to mention. I finished with a layer of topcoat.
