HOLO WEEK: Day 2 - Cupcake Polish
Good morning again and welcome to day 2 of HOLO WEEK! I hope you liked yesterday's post. I am equally excited to share this post as it's another brand I had been following for a while and finally had a chance to snag some beauties! Cupcake Polish started in June 2013 and has some amazing holos and lovely glitters in her shop. Of course in this post I'll share some holos but I look forward to trying more finishes from this brand in the near future. The 2 polishes I have to show you today are from the new and LE, Olympics Collection. Of course inspired by the Winter Olympics currently happening in Sochi, Russia. My only regret with this collection is that I didn't get more of them because now they are sold out.

This beauty is On Thin Ice. I always love these light, greyed out white shades of holo (of course because I am always on the hunt for my white buffalo - a pure white linear holo). The holo effect sits somewhere in the middle of the spectrum, not an ultra holo, but not so soft it's barely there. I found the formula just a bit thick on this one but not difficult to work with. I really liked how opaque and creamy the formula of On Thin Ice was - it covered completely in 2 coats! No topcoat.
Next is my favorite of the 2, Only Fools Russian. Hello gorgeous sea foam green! I was swooning over the mini gold flakies and shimmer in here. I find holos so interesting when there is just a little something extra to make them special. Only Fools Russian had a thinner formula that On Thin Ice and was a breeze to apply. I used 3 coats for full coverage and no topcoat.
What great holos!! Love them :)
