Lynnderella Diamond Light, Cult Nails Be Loco & Enchanted Polish Dime Piece

Good morning there lovelies!  With all this sunshine I promptly started wearing brighter colors on my nails.  I just can't resist them...they suck me in!  The mani I have to share today is made up of 3 beautiful polishes from 3 popular indie brands.  I like how they worked together and created a simple but noticeable mani.

I started this mani with Enchanted Polish Dime Piece.  One of the most holo-y silver linear holos I have ever tried.  It's totally space age and awesome.  Application and formula were both awesome.  I used 2 coats of Dime Piece.  I used Cult Nails Be Loco on my middle and ring fingers and the "intensely pigmented bright peach toned creme" is really amazing.  I actually found the finish to be more crelly like.  Such a perfect color for the Spring and Summer seasons.  Formula an application were both great.  I used 2 coats of Be Loco.  Finally I topped Be Loco with Lynnderella Diamond Light, a holographic glitter polish full of "silver and pink dots and diamonds dusted with assorted micro glitters."  The mix of silver and pink glitters in Diamond Light is really lovely.  I found the base a touch thin for the glitters and wish I would have gotten more out.  But all in all it turned out nice.  I used 2 coats of Diamond Light.  I finished this mani with 1 layer of topcoat on all nails.

Girly Bits Sofa King Messy

Double post this morning you lucky readers you!  I wanted to share this gorgeous glitter bomb with you  right away because Pam of Pam's Girly Bits released a few new polishes this morning and Sofa King Messy is one of them!  Here's Pam's story behind Sofa King Messy (say it 3x fast) "a damaged shipment of glitter turned into a very pretty mix of glitters of this polish. With the addition of a few extra ingredients to the glitters that we were able to salvage, Sofa King Messy was born."  Perfect name for a perfect polish, even if it was unintentional.  Pam also jokes that there are too many glitters in this polish to list them!  I agree with that - but I do see blue, aqua, gold, pink, red, green, iridescent, basically the entire rainbow and then some.  If you want a mega glitter bomb THIS is for you!  
I started this mani with 1 coat of Cult Nails Time Traveler.  Time Traveler is a gorgeous navy blue creme.  It's deep and dark and a 1 coater!  I did put on 2 coats of base coat because I remember this one is a stainer.  So user be wary.  I then used 1 coat of Sofa King Messy.  So much glitter comes out with each brush dip that this is also a 1 coater!  The formula and application were wonderful.  It's so sparkly and pretty!  I only needed 1 layer of topcoat for smooth nails.

Cult Nails Untamed and Elevation Polish Haba Xueshan

Here's a fun and pretty little mani for you today!  I was thinking and thinking how I wanted to use Elevation Polish Haba Xueshan to show off it's cool minty circle glitters.  Obviously not a black, white or mint colored base because I would lose some of the glitter colors that way.  I wanted something that was going to show all the colors and compliment them.  I had an A-HA moment, pink!  So I dug around my stash and found the yet to be tried Cult Nails Untamed.  Now I was cooking!

Untamed is a really pretty bubblegum pink polish.  Kind of a jelly formula, but not really.  It's hard to explain.  It's really sheer with 1 coat so I ended up using 3 to get full coverage.  There is a very subtle light silver shimmer in Untamed.  Really a fun and girly polish with a nice formula.  No formula problems to report.

Then I used 1 layer of Elevation Polish Haba Xueshan.  HX is a great twist on the classic black & white glitter combo with the addition of mint colored circles.  You know I love circles, right?  This glitter polish was wonderful.  The glitter is suspended very well in the base, it came out in abundance and spread easily on the nails.  Everything lay flat and smooth.  I used 1 layer of topcoat to finish it off.

Emily de Molly Cosmic Forces and Cult Nails Flushed

Hello gorgeous purples!  I guess I never realized it before but I sure do like purple polish!  I paired Emily de Molly Cosmic Forces and Cult Nails Flushed together and am quite happy with the outcome of shimmer and glitter together! 

I started with 2 coats of Cult Nails Flushed on all nails.  Flushed is probably one of my favorite purples in my collection.  It's a gorgeous shade of "blurple" with hot pink shimmer.  It was sheer in the first coat but built up nicely with the second. 

I then used Emily de Molly Cosmic Forces on 2 accent nails.  Cosmic Forces is a dark sheer purple/plum base full of pink holo circles, lilac hexs and lilac holo dots.  I did have to dig a bit for the large circles and wished that more were in the bottle.  But other than that I did get plenty of glitter on my nails with the 2 coats I used.  Cosmic Forces was easy to apply and all the glitters laid flat on my nails.  I finished up with a layer of topcoat on all nails.

St. Patrick's Day Polish Spam!

It seemed to be quite a popular post when I queued up several manis for Valentine's Day so I'm back with a post chalk full of green polishes.  I picked several different finishes to show off: glitter, holo, shimmer, flakie, textured, creme and color shifting!  I will give a brief description of each mani combination before the pictures.   I hope you enjoy looking at all the pictures.  Here we go!

1. Zoya Pixie Dust Vespa.  Soft sage green.  Textured.  2 layers, no topcoat.

2. Eliana Trevo da Sorte and Pure Ice Sheer Luck.  Trevo is a pistachio green creme.  I used 2 coats.  Sheer Luck is dense green micro glitter with blue and purple diamonds.  I used 1 coat, then 1 layer of topcoat. 

3. China Glaze L8R G8R.  This is from the OMG, 2009.  So everything from this collection is very hard to find and pricey.  L8R G8R is a light lime green with gorgeous linear holo.  I used 3 thin coats and no top coat.

4. Dior Lime and Red Dog Designs The Temptress.  Lime is a very beautiful lime green creme with subtle hidden shimmer.  I used 2 coats.  I accented 1 nail with 1 coat of Red dog Designs The Temptress - a gorgeous tone on tone green glitter bomb.  1 layer of top coat on the accent nail only.

5. Illamasqua Radium and Femme Fatale Keeper of the Grove.  I started with 2 coats of Radium, a shimmery neon green.  I accented 2 nails with 2 coats of Keeper of the Grove, a neon green glitter with other neon colored glitters sprinkled in (including pink circles!  Yay!).  I layer of topcoat.  

6. Cult Nails Feelin' Froggy and Darling Diva Polish Bonnie Lassie.  Here I started with 2 coats of Feelin' Froggy, a pretty shimmery kelly-ish green.  I then dabbed Bonnie Lassie on the tips of all nails.  1 layer of topcoat.

7. wet n wild Poison Ivy and Sinful Colors Green Ocean.  Poison Ivy is very dark and pigmented deep hunter green with shimmer...I only needed 1 coat for full coverage.  I then used 1 coat of Green Ocean, a green/blue/aqua shifting flakie polish (how could I not used Green Ocean in this post?!).  1 layer of topcoat.

8. OPI Here Today Aragon Tomorrow and Ninja Polish Alexandrite.  HTAT is a blackened hunter green creme.  I used 2 coats (but should have used 3).  I then used 1 coat of Alexandrite (which is not currently available).  Alexandrite is a gorgeous green/purple/aqua color shifting polish.  1 layer of topcoat.

9. Last but not least - not a green polish, but so very fitting for today!  The Nail Junkie Pot o' Gold!  Inspired by the black pot full of gold at the end of the rainbow.  This is a very lovely black crelly-ish base full of gold microglitter and gold circles (coins).  I used 3 coats and 1 layer of topcoat.
