Happy New Years all! I figured I'd share a post featuring my favorites from 2016! It's so hard to whittle it down because the makers are really on fire this year! Unfortunately I have plenty of polishes I purchased but haven't had a chance to try out yet, fingers crossed I can get to them in early 2017. Other than that, I just want to say that I've thoroughly enjoyed working with so many brands, getting to know makers and other bloggers, building great friendships in nail polish land. I truly hope 2017 is full of love, happiness and laughter for all of you! And thank you for sticking with my blog...looking forward to continuing my colorful journey in 2017! Cheers!

Christmas Eve Nail Art
Morning! Merry Christmas Eve day! I finally had some time to get festive an did a mani last night using so fabulous polish from my stash. The stamping polish is from Girly Bits and it's my go-to brand for stamping polish (and regular polish of course). You can get Girly Bits stamping polish in an array of colors for $7.49 USD. Unfortunately their site is down at the moment so I can't directly link you to the product, tell you what scents are available or the price. Yup, I'm useless. Zoya; Enchanted, Holiday 2016
Morning dears. I've been thinking this morning. Lots of my favorite bloggers are quitting. Real bloggers. While Instagram swatchers and photoshop bloggers are gaining popularity. Maybe blogs aren't so popular anymore. And a blog that is super lengthy isn't being read because the comments on it don't match up to the post. I've noticed that on several of my recent posts and while I know mine aren't that long I think I'll begin to shave them down. So no more gabbing about irrelevant topics on my posts. Starting today.
This morning I have the Zoya Enchanted Collection. This is a 6-piece set with a mix of shimmer, multi chrome and PIXIES!! Yup, Zoya has some fantastic PixieDust in this collection! If you're a texture lover then this collection is going to be your jam! Enchanted is available now, $60 for the whole set or $10 each. Let's jump in and check them out!

Morning beauties! It's a frost kind of a morning here. Actually it started last night when I went outside looking for my daughters tennis shoe and my assumption that Rocky (our puppy) grabbed it and took it in the backyard was correct. Well the show was covered in a fine layer of icy frost. It was 35 degrees last night and it's 33 right now! Definitely too cold for my California blood. I'm warming up with a cup of coffee and breakfast. And I'm here to share a Girly Bits Post with you! These are the December CoTM Duo and they're amazing! I swear Pam outdoes herself every month! Beauty Post: Full Brow Highlighter
Howdy all! Today I have another beauty post to share with you. Full Brow is another brand that I learned about while at CosmoProf in Las Vegas this past Summer. It's an Australian based brand that niche is eyebrows and eyes! I never used to do my eyebrows. Never gave them a second thought. Then I tried a brow product and I was hooked. Now if I put on nothing else, I at least fill in my eyebrows. Well Full Brow has everything you need to have absolutely perfect brows! While I didn't get one of those awesome powders to try out I did get a highlighter. You totally need one of these in your arsenal for a finished, and luminous look! Ok so you need to head over to the website to see the brow powders, wax, smudge, and all the other good stuff. But for now let's chat about the highlighter!

Joy Lacquer; Seattle Football Fans Collection
Good evening dears! It feels so late because it's really dark, but it's only 6:30! I swear I want to be in pajamas, cozied up on the couch and watching TV by 4:30 these days. And I may do just that tonight, I'm currently addicted to the Hallmark channel and enjoying all the sappy Christmas movies. I really do love Candace Cameron Burre. Actually the whole, stay in pjs and on the couch has been my mantra over the weekends and I watch football with my hubby. I don't have a favorite team but I don't mind watching whatever game is on. But I know who does have a favorite team, Joy from Joy Lacquer. Joy created this collection for the 12/15 Seahawks vs the Rams game at Seattle's Century Link Field. The Seahawks will join the NFL color rush initiative by wearing new uniforms at this game! These polishes will be available on 12/13 for $10.50 each or you can get the mini set - featuring the new style of mini bottle - for $24. And this week only you can save 25% on any (or all) of them with the code GREENTHURSDAY at checkout. So let's jump in and check out these Seahawks inspired polishes!

Chloe + Isabel Nail Polish Trio
Good morning dears! It's Monday, boo. Thankfully I have a pretty little nail polish trio to share with you today. Maybe it will make your day better. I'm not sure if you've heard of Chloe + Isabel before. It's a fun fashion jewelry brand that has recently ventured out into makeup, bags, candles, accessories and....nail polish! I've been a merchandiser since 2011 and love having the perfect piece of jewelry to wear with every outfit, but I did feel the brand was missing something. I'm really happy they expanded their product line up. Once I saw they had a nail polish kit I had to snatch that up right away. You can purchase this trio for yourself or as a gift for $28. From now until 12/28 you can save 25% site wide with the code FFHOL25. Let's jump in and check out the polish!

Athletic Wear Post: InknBurn Clothing
Howdy all! Tonight I have a very different post to share with you. Some of you may know that I'm a runner. I've been a runner for a long time off and on. I really picked it up in the last few years because I wanted speed and stamina on the soccer field (those are things that aren't easy to come by as I get older). Plus as an added bonus it's kept me fit and allows me to get away with eating things I want to eat. Also I'm super competitive so it's fun when actually place in my age group! Anyways, I come across many athletic brands that I like to wear because they help in my performance. One such brand is InknBurn. It's a brand of clothing created just for runners. InknBurn is about 4 years old and based in Southern California. They create small batches of products that are made with sweat wicking materials. Patterns are applied to the soft, sweat wicking material using heat and pressure. The ink actually stains the Dry I.C.E. Technical fabric and the process means no fading or peeling. AWESOME! But most importantly, this stuff feels amazing on. The last thing I want is to be fiddling with my shirt or shorts during a race. I've worn InknBurn to several street and trail races with zero tugging, slipping, picking or riding up. If you haven't heard of this brand before I suggest you give it at try!

Born Pretty Store Shining Mirror Mermaid Nail Glitter
Good morning beauties. I stayed home yesterday (all day) to nurse a cold and take care of my sick little girl. I hate when my kids are sick. The only good thing that came of staying at home all day was getting some pictures prepared to post. So I guess I can't complain about it. Plus I probably needed the rest myself. Anyways, I have this gorgeous mermaid glitter to share with you today! It's called Shining Mirror Mermaid Nail Glitter and it's amazing! It's only $1.59, you get a ton in your little baggie - it's going to last a long time! HERE is the direct link to the glitter. Let's delve in and check out pictures of this fun glitter. Beauty Review: Ittse Cosmetics - The Polo Fields Makeup Collection
Good evening! I have a makeup review for you and I am really excited about it! I had heard of Ittse back in the Summer of 2015 because they were at CosmoProf. Sadly I missed their booth. But this past July I made sure to stop by and hear about their brand. Their displays were so beautiful I was immediately smitten. I know I'm a nail polish junkie but I like makeup as much as the next beauty blogger so I was very excited to head home with the extremely generous gift package they gave me. So basically Itsse takes the makeup palette and makes it completely customizable for the consumer. You purchase a case, and "coins" of eyeshadow, blush, highlighter, lipstick and you create your own look. You can also buy curated looks which set you up with all you need for a complete kit. Curated sets are about $80 while individual coins start at $8. Let's jump in and I'll tell you more about the brand before I show you my swatches.

Beauty Review: Hard Candy Trolls Prismatic Luminizer
Good morning again lovelies. I think I mentioned that I was in new York for Thanksgiving. One of my best friends lives there and I got to spend time hanging out with her. It was awesome! She had a little gift for me, something that she knew I was looking for! I'm so excited to own the Hard Candy Trolls Prismatic Luminizer! It's a rainbow highlighter and it's so much fun! Naomi and I both wore it the other day and felt very pretty walking about with rainbow cheeks. The Prismatic Luminizer, as well as the other Trolls cosmetics are only available at Walmart. And not even online because I checked. And now I'm in desperate need of the Marbleized Lipstick and Color Change Lip Gloss and Mood Lip Balm. Yeah, I need it all. Anyways, hit up your local Walmart and keep your fingers crossed this stuff is available!

Darling Diva Polish: Pokemon Go Collection
Ok I know it's Thanksgiving, and I have had a busy day already. But I've got a responsibility to you all, my readers, to go into Black Friday ready to make informed decisions. Along with some amazing polishes made just for the occasion, there are also plenty of other collections still available including this one...the Pokemon Go Collection! I'll admit that I'm not into it. But I do know the basics about Pokemon because my brother watched it when he was little. My oldest son tries to tell me about it but I get that glazed over eye look and my ears just don't register anything he's saying. But if you wanted to just talk about these polishes you have my undivided attention. Pokemon Go is a set of 6 polishes, pastel shades, ultra chrome flakies and a sparkly holo flakie topper. Awesome!
Let me tell you about Black Friday deals. All the LE's created for the days sale are doorbuster deals. They will be $6.50 each. There will also be a 30% off sale, including products in the sale section. Sale starts at 5pm Central on 11/24.
So with that all taken care of, let's check out the Pokemon Go Collection!

Sweetheart Squadron is available now in stores that sell Morgan Taylor as well as online for $9. Let's check them out!

Girly Bits Cosmetics, Codename: Duchess
Good morning again! It's almost Thanksgiving! Are you ready? Did you get your groceries, travel to where you need to be, decorate your house to look like Christmas? I did none of that this year because we decided to have Thanksgiving across the country in New York. But we will be spending the evening with family members (extended ones that I don't know so well, but it'll be fun and delicious!). Anywho, I'm back with more polish that launch soon! Girly Bits has this gorgeous collection called Codename: Duchess. It's inspired by Archer and from the feedback I was getting while helping people shop at The Indie Event, this is a very good thing. I don't know what this tv show is but I gather it's about spies. Codename Duchess is a set of 7 duochrome-y shimmers that will be available on 11/24 at 12 noon EST. Polishes will be $16.50 CAD each. During the first two weeks if you purchase the entire collection for $108.50 (a savings of $1 per bottle). Ok let's jump in and hear about each individual polish!

The Indie Shop Event Coverage
Good morning dolls! This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending The Indie Shop event in the Los Angeles area. I was very excited, not sure what to expect since the last mini convention I went to was in the evening and I was primarily a shopper/media. This time I got to stand behind the Girly Bits booth helping answer questions, find products, process orders and bag up goodies. It was so much fun and I loved getting to spend so much time with Pam and Tara. Ok so the actual event. The Indie Shop was held in a lovely event room in a Double Tree hotel. It was spacious and bright with plenty of windows. Perfect for actually being able the products being displayed. There were 18 vendors with a variety of products; nail polish, nail art supplies and hand/bath care. I was able to mosey around prior to the doors opening to take pictures of the tables and then again for a short while to do some shopping. So let's jumping and I'll show you some of the stuff I saw.
Here are all the lovely vendors in a photo op before the doors opened at 10am for the VIPs!

Parallax Polish Stat-ick-tics Collection
Afternoon y'all! Hope you are enjoying your Friday evening! I am going over to a friends house for a huge mom get together/jewelry party. There will be wine and snacks and laughs and money spent. After this week I could definitely use it. Before I get myself all dolled up I wanted to share a new collection from Parallax Polish. Due to a move and settling in to new jobs Parallax Polish has been quiet on the nail polish scene. But I am happy to announce that she's back with gusto! Stat-ick-tics was inspired by events that occurred in Erin's area of research (statistics) and the class she teaches. Power, alpha and beta are all things her class deals with, including trials and errors to come up with the correct answers for research projects. The new Stat-ick-tics Collection is pretty awesome and full of Fall perfection. This collection will be available soon so keep your eyes open for an announcement on the Facebook page. Now let's jump in and check out the polish!
Girly Bits Cosmetics; The Indie Shop LE's and Exclusive: One Is Never Un Oeuf, Ooh La La & Merci
Morning again! I have more Girly Bits to share with you. But today's post showcases polishes made for The Indie Shop nail polish event in Torrance, CA this weekend. I'm happy to say that I get to attend this one and actually will be helping out at the Girly Bits booth! So if you're going stop by to chat with me and Pam. Alright, so 2 of these are limited edition and will be available later (don't quote me on that) and one is an event exclusive. If you've seen any of the swatches of the brands/polishes that will be there you probably noticed there's a French theme. I'm totally cool with that because I love France. So I think it's pretty obvious that I'm excited about Saturday. For now let's jump in to the post and check out these stunning Girly Bits!

Girly Bits Cosmetics: Limited Edition November 2016 Colour of the Month Duo, Every Day I'm Truffling & The Fuchsia Is Ours
Good morning again! I dread Thursday. It's my busiest day of the week. I end up sitting in the car for at least 3 hours shuttling my kids around from practice to practice and don't get home until almost 8pm. Thank goodness it's the last time I have to do the soccer rush for a while. Fall sports season is finally winding down, yay! But the Fall polish season is still in full swing. Zoya Urban Grunge; Metallics
Good afternoon dolls! I told you I'd have a lot to share today so here goes another post. Earlier this Fall I shared the cremes from the Zoya Urban Grunge collection. today I'll round out that post by sharing the metallics (and HOLOS!) from Urban Grunge. Actually it's the perfect time to share these because the weather is cooling off, Fall is well under way, and it's officially November people! Turkey days are upon us! So you can see the first half of my post HERE and let's just jump right in to the metallics. This is actually my favorite part of this collection, these colors are all so pretty and sparkly. Perfect for upcoming Holiday parties and Sunday football manis! You can pick up the Urban Grunge collection now for $10 each or a pack of 6 for $60.
Indie Spotlight: 6 Harts
Morning beauties! I'll have a couple posts coming at you today but let's start with this one. I'm in a new Facebook group that spotlights one indie maker a month! So I'll have some links to other bloggers featuring the same brand at the bottom of my post, please be sure to check them out. 6 Harts has the honor of being the first showcased indie and I pulled out my favorite, Midnight Delight. I have a good stash of 6 Harts and they are all very lovely. Some of my other favorites are Not Taupical, Carnal Intent and Bat Crap Crazy. Courtney makes small batches and puts thought into her colors and finishes. They all build up well in 2-3 coats. I'd also like to recommend her cuticle oils, which are lightly scented (great for those who are sensitive to strong smells) and very nourishing. If you haven't tired this brand out you definitely should!

Darling Diva Polish BSC Collection; Fall 2016
Happy Friday y'all! This morning was good and rainy, I stayed inside and cozied up. But now the sun is out and hopefully it stays dry for the rest of the day because tonight is the kids school Fall festival. They'd be so devastated if it were canceled or we didn't go. So fingers crossed! Tonight, 10/28, Darling Diva Polish will also be launching some new collections, yay! The Halloween Quad (see my review HERE), the BSC Collection (today's post) and the Crazy Pokemon Collection (I'll post my review next week). They are all single pour collections so grab your favorites right away. So the BSC Collection, also known as the Batshit Crazy Collection. It's inspired by Helena from Orphan Black. I haven't seen this show but it sounds interesting. Anywho...let's jump in and check out these polishes!

Top Shelf Lacquer; Fun Bar Quotes Collection
Hello beauties! I hope your Thursday was great! Mine was because it rained today. I don't even care that I got rained on during my run because 2 out of 3 kids practices were canceled and I didn't have to run around like a crazy woman tonight. I got home at a descent hour and got to finish up my dinner, which was a bomb pork butt that I shredded up into carnitas for tacos. Taco Thursday...why not! Thursday night is also typically ladies night but since I don't get to do that I do get to show you the Top Shelf Lacquer Fun Bar Quotes collection! This is a 4-piece multichrome collection and it's pretty amazing! This collection launched in August, so you can get your favorites now. The 8ml bottle is $8.50 and the 15ml bottles is $12. Ready for pictures?

Beauty Post: Obsessed Minerals Eyeshadow Water Paints
Good day beauties. I've got a beauty post today, woo hoo! Obsessed Minerals is a brand I was introduced to at CosmoProf. Obsessed Minerals is a line of glamorous cosmetics made from minerals. This line of cosmetics focuses on intensity, purity and application. Before I knew any of this all I knew was the wow factor my eyes saw when I walked up to the display. The eyeshadow were particularly stunning! Well then I had a few to play with and I adore them! You can buy the water paint pigments shadows for $16. There's also an array of other items you can try; eyeliner, lipstick, foundation, blush, moisturizer, and anti-aging to name a few. Be sure to browse around after you ready my post!

Orly; Meet Me At Mullholland & Breathables Nourishing Nude & Beauty Essential
Good morning dears! How's your Tuesday treating you? I feel like I got absolutely nothing done because I went on a field trip with Naomi. So today I have to take her to a doctors appointment and rush to the grocery store after. I have a feeling house chores will get put off for yet another day. It's killing me how I can't seem to keep anything clean these days. But one thing I can keep up with is sharing polish with you. Today I have some nice Orly's to share with you. One from the Fall 2016 Mulholland Collection and two from the new Breathables line. You can buy Orly polish and Breathables now for around $9 each. Let's jump in and check out the polish!

Press Release: China Glaze Seas and Greetings, Holiday 2016
Late night post! Just wanted to share the press release for China Glaze Seas and Greetings Holiday 2016 collection! I got to see these way back when at CosmoProf in July and I also have samples of them to share with you! Eeeeeee, this collection is so pretty and different, I can't wait to share swatches with you! Kudos to China Glaze for taking a different approach to the holiday season this year.
Darling Diva Polish Halloween Quad, 2016
Hello beauties. Last night was rough. UGH The Walking Dead. I just can't. Actually to an extent I think it would have been way worse if they would have revealed it at the end of last season because knowing it was going to happen for months made me a bit numb to it when it finally did. Still one of the most gruesome things I've seen on TV though. But let's not talk of such unpleasant things. Let's talk about this gorgeous Halloween collection from Darling Diva Polish to distract me today. Carrie came up with 4 gorgeous shades, perfect for Halloween! All 4 were completely stunning but 2 definitely stole the show for me. This quad will be available on Friday 10/28. Let's head into the post to check them out!
