Morgan Taylor Sweetheart Squadron

Good morning again dolls and happy Thanksgiving!  Since Fall is winding down now I'll be focusing on some Winter collections in the next couple weeks.  I want to share the last few autumnal sets I have hanging around my house.  One of those is the Morgan Taylor Sweetheart Squadron collection.  This collection is inspired by the courageous female pioneers of the aviation industry.  I love the idea behind the collection as well as the shades.  Sweetheart Squadron is available now in stores that sell Morgan Taylor as well as online for $9.  Let's check them out!

Up In The Air-Heart is a dusty coral creme.  I felt it was more of an apricot creme shade.  It's a beautiful, soft color that's definitely trans-seasonal.  I used 3 coats for full and even coverage.  No topcoat needed.

Perfect Landing is described as a dusty rose creme on the site but my eyes see a juicy peach shade.   It's another color that can be worn during any season.  Formula and application were nice.  I used 3 coats for full coverage and no topcoat.

Put A Wing On It is a shimmery runway red.  Ok again, I don't agree with the description on the website.  This is more of a deep orange full of shimmer.  This one had a bit of a jelly formula and it was really pretty and shiny.  I used 3 coats and finished with a layer of topcoat.

Looking For A Wingman is an eggplant creme.  Sigh, I'm tired of arguing.  I see a deep berry creme.  Am I taking crazy pills here people?  Seriously though, someone please tell me I'm not way off base here in my own personal color descriptions because my its do not match the website descriptions at all.  Anyways, it's a lovely color with a lovely formula.  Application was a breeze.  I used 2 coats and no topcoat needed.

Rule the Runway is a soft slate grey creme.  Ok, this one is closer to matching my description.  I felt it was a pastel-ish greige.  It's a nice neutral that will be an easy go to for a low key look.  Formula and application were great.  I used 2 coats for full coverage and no topcoat.

And last but not least is Oh, Para-Chute!.  Finally, a color description we can agree on!  This is a dusty sage green creme.  I love the unique color and the creme finish is fabulous.  I used 2 coats for full coverage and no topcoat.
