Evening!  Kids go back to school tomorrow and life goes back to semi-normal quiet time.  Hoping with the better weather and air quality I can actually get back to walking too! So this week/weekend was nice.  Since the baby is still little we laid low and took it easy, which we rarely do so it was cool to just stay home.  So tonight I need to squeeze in 2 posts for you and I'm going to start with the remaining half of the Zoya Element Collection.  These are the Fall 2018 collection and since Fall is winding down I figured I'd better share them ASAP!  You can see the first half of my post HERE.  The Elements collection is available for $10 each.  Let's check them out!

Alter Ego: November Polish of the Month, Open Arms

Another fabulous morning and...it's Friday!! While I am recovering from yesterday's consumption of mass amounts of food and vegging put on the couch, I figured I'd jump on and share another polish post, YAY!  Today's post features a Fan Group Custom! Cynthia from Alter Ego has been making some beautiful monthly polishes for her Facebook Fan Group and the November offering is lovely.  She created Open Arms, inspired by the heartfelt thought that everyone goes in to the holidays being kind and welcoming.  I love that thought and it would be so nice if everyone in the world practiced this.  You can purchase Open Arms this month (or until supply runs out) and it will be $9.50.  Plus you can use my discount code My Nail Polish Obsession for 25% off.  I love a good deal!  I am not sure what Black Friday deals Cynthia has going on, but I do know you'll be able to stack codes!

Makeup Review: Sara Happ Sugar & Shine Kit

Alright, I've been sitting at home, not capable of doing much with only one free arm/hand.  But you know what I can do?  Shop online.  And I'm mastering it like a total champ.  Black Friday sales will be my B-word.  I did some finger stretches while perusing the holiday gift beauty sets at Nordstrom and really, really wanted this set from Sara Happ.  Sara Happ was the very fist lip scrub that I tried and to this day is still my absolute favorite.  It's the perfect amount of grittiness to oil ratio to leave my lips feeling soft and smooth.  So yeah, I have my fair share of pots of lip scrub, but this set had scrub in tubes!  HELLO you will be so easy to use and make my life better so I had to get it.  This set is actually 2 scrubs and 1 lip gloss.  to be more specific; 1 The Lip Scrub in Hot Cocoa, 1 The Lip Scrub in Pink Marshmallow and 1 The Lip Slip in Whipped Vanilla Gloss.  You can purchase the Sugar & Shine set from Sara Happ directly or from Nordstrom like I did for $38.  Trust me, your lips will be so happy you did.

Body Care Review: Alter Ego, Pet & People Potion

Afternoon!  It's officially the weekend and I'm rolling in to a full week of the kids being home on vacation.  Since it's almost Thanksgiving I've been thinking about the things I'm thankful for, the things we do have, a roof over our head, our health, being together.  The fam makes me totally crazy but I just wouldn't have it any other way!  Today I have the very last of my saved up posts to share with you and then I'll be trying to squeeze in swatch time between holding/feeding a 2 week old and daily errands (ie cleaning my house, I'm such a crappy maid I should fire myself). So the product today is Alter Ego Pet and People Potion, it's a thick balm that you can use on any needy parts.  And as the name states, it's great for people and animals!  You can pick up Pet & People Potion for $4.50.  Le't jump in.

Makeup Review: RMS Beauty, Living Luminizer

Good morning lovelies!  As you can tell, I've been a bit crazy over makeup lately.  One product in particular that I can't seem to get enough of is highlighter!  I have a good assortment of them and rotate through, always having a different highlighted look.  One day while out shopping with a friend I spotted this nice looking brand, RMS Beauty.  The clean packaging was what initially drew me in, bit the ease of use is what sealed the deal. Guys, I have never been a girly-girl.  I am not a pro at putting on makeup and couldn't do a good blend job to save my life.  I wear the bare minimum and one of the major factors that makes me pull the trigger on a purchase is if the product is easy to use.  Cream highlighter that I can apply with my fingertips definitely fits the bill!  You can purchase RMS Beauty from several places so I will just link their main website below.  I'd highly suggest perusing their website because all their products look really great.  You can pick up Living Luminizer for $38. Let's check it out!

Makeup Review: Glossier Makeup

Hulllo (say it like Mrs. Doubtfire)! Back again with more makeup to share!  I've posted about skincare/makeup brand Glossier before and I was quite smitten with it.  I actually buy the skin care line consistently now and my skin has never been nicer!  Well, I recently bought more items and once again, my expectations were exceeded and I was super happy with the products.  I tried some of the new LidStar shadows and a Generation G lipstick (let me tel you that they recently re-vamped the G lipstick tho I'm not 100% positive what they changed).  These are all available on the site now so head over for some retail therapy or pick up some stocking stuffers for your loved ones!  Let's jump in to the post.

Makeup Review: French Girl Le Lip Tint & Lip Polish

Evening friends!  I've back with ANOTHER makeup review!  What is this?  My makeup Obsession??!!  Strangely enough, I hardly buy makeup, and when I do I end up barely using it.  I'm just weird like that.  But I have had a hankering to purchase new makeup a lot lately, probably because I follow so many beauty blogs the are showcasing all the fantabulous holiday sets right now. I was shopping in a local Madewell store and saw they had a small beauty/skin care line sitting on a shelf and I was quite intrigued.  I am a bit of a lip scrub addict and have lip balms spilling out of all my pockets and purses at any given time.  So I had to snag both the Rose Lip Polish and the Le Lip Tint.  Both products are from a line called French Girl and I'll admit it was another factor that led to me having to buy and try these.  You can purchase the Rose Lip Polish and Le Lip Tint from Madewell for $15/$16 or from the French Girl Organics site for $18 each.  French Girl Organics is a bit pricier (which I find odd) but you get more lip tint color selections there.  Alrighty, let's check them out!

Fit Snack; August/September 2018

Morning and happy Monday.  I'll be honest, I am running short on posts and going through older ones that have been in my que. I need to figure out how to get a few minutes here and there to swatch, test and photograph new products.  But for now I'm just going to share what I've got!  One of those things is the August/September Fit Snack Box.  This was the "back to school" box and since I was in fact getting 3 kids ready to go back to school while being uncomfortably pregnant it fell through the cracks.  But I opened it up and was pretty excited to try the new products!  As always, you can save 30% off your first box using my link HERE. While this isn't what items are available in the November box, it gives you an idea of what kinds of snacks you could get.  So let's check them out.

Makeup Review: NYX LE Sugar Trip Collection - Paradise Fluff Ombre Highlighter - Sweet Custard & Lip Oil - Carnival Ride

Good morning, happy Saturday!  I'm at home, resting, relaxing, sleeping, cleaning, eating, watching tv.  I'm usually on the go but for now, I'm just laying low and enjoying the down time.  Earlier last week I swung y the Nordstrom Rack and picked up some new makeup.  I saw a cute display for the NYX Paradise Fluff collection, I believe it's the holiday collection?  Don't quote me on that - it's not a brand I follow so I have to do some sleuthing and see what other bloggers have said about the collection.  Anyways, the Sugar Trip collection has a few smaller collections within in featuring tins with lip products, shadows, lippie sets, highlighters, all packaged so cute and perfect for gifting.  I have been mildly obsessing over highlighter and typically get very light pink ones but saw this one and decided to give it a try.  I also couldn't resist the lip oil because I have a problem with owning way too many lipsticks and lipgloss and lip balm and all the lip products.  Anyways, as I said, there are a bunch of other products in this collection, they range from $6 - $55.  While I found these at the Nordstrom Rack, they are also at NYX, Ulta, Target, Kohls.  Let's check them out!

Makeup Review: NudeStix; Creator's Palette

Evening!  So I haven't "really" posted in a week, I've just been sharing posts that I previously wrote and scheduled while I was in the hospital having a baby!  I officially had my sweet little Liam, my number 4, on 11/3.  So hang with me as I'll likely be MIA for a bit, randomly posting things as I can while the baby sleeps or I have extra arms to help hold him.  I have plenty of things to work through in my possession but probably won't be accepting new items for review until after the New Year.  So tonight I have a fun makeup brand to share.  I heard about Nudestix from bloggers who went to CPNA over the summer.  I clicked the brand link and was then completely big brothered on social media and my news feed was flooded with the brand.  I gave in, they won.  But I'm glad I did because I wear these every day!  The concept, in the simplest terms, is makeup in stick form.  Lipstick, blush, concealer, highlighter.  This is the Creator's Palette.  I'm guessing that the people behind these 6 shades work for Nudestix?  But it was the colors that drew me in.  Super pretty shades that look great for every occasion.  Freckle was the one that sealed the deal...I needed Freckle.  It's the one I wear the most.  You can purchase the Creator's Palette HERE for $59...if not for you, maybe a fantastic Christmas present!

Envy Lacquer; Very Important Mermaid

Hullo again!  Keeping up with my plan to get all my drafts out of my que, I have another oldie post to share with you today!  Another beautiful polish from The Indie Shop held in San Francisco back in July 2017.  Swatching these polishes and looking a them again makes me so bummed that NorCal gets the shaft with all the nail polish conventions.  San Francisco is a huge city, as are most cities in the Bay Area.  There are plenty of other things to do here once the convention is over.  But I guess we get no love so don't mind me, I'll just go kick rocks.  Anywho, Envy is the brand that organizes TIS and usually has a few show exclusives for sale, Very Important Mermaid was one of those for the San Fran event.  Of course, this is no longer available but I wold highly suggest you keep watch on the upcoming TIS events and especially the event exclusive products - they are always lovely!

Well hello there!  What's this?  An oldie Polish Pickup shade!  So if memory serves, February was the "Sugar Rush" themed month and Ever After was inspired by these lovely pastel mint colored candy bars.  She came up with Melt In Your Mouth.  Again, my apologies for sharing a polish that is no longer available, but you might get lucky and find this one on the PPU BST page or in a de-stash.  Keep your eyes peeled.  So let's jump in and check out this minty beauty!

Painted Polish; Diving for Doubloons

Hey hey all!  Remember when I said that yesterday I was going to start getting all my drafts out of my Queen?  Well I'm back with a second post to share with you!  This is a real oldie and is definite not available anymore, unless you find it in a destash.  So way back when in July 2017 I went to The Indie Shop in San Francisco.  I've talked about it before and mentioned that it was a mermaid themed event (so fun).  This is one of the polishes I picked up from the event - Painted Polish Diving for Doubloons.  I love me a good glitter cruelly and this one was really fantastic!  Let's jump in and check it out.

KBShimmer; Hard To Empress

Just going through drafts of old posts that I didn't have time to put up and I saw this one.  I felt like I really just wanted to share it so I'm back with another post for ya!  This is KBShimmer Hard To Empress.  This came out back in June when Polish Con was in New York.  It was a show exclusive that ended up on the KBShimmer website for a brief time, but because of the  ingredients used (UP pigment) it was very LE.  I have no idear if it will come back but for the sake of clearing out my drafts I am sharing it with you today.  Sorry for being a tease.

Alter Ego November Polish Pickup Exclusive: Go To Hel, Hope For Heaven

Good morning!  Did y'all survive Halloween?  I had some seriously tired kids this morning who were super slow to get themselves together.  But we all made it off to school on time and all is well.  I'm resting on the couch - got in a nice 2 mile walk last night hitting up houses from the potluck on the way home.  But seems every little walk is just exhausting to me these days.  So while I detox from the candy intake, I am going to share the last of the November PPU shades I have for you.  This one is from Alter Ego and it's called Go To Hel, Hope For Heaven.  It was inspired by Hel, the Norse Goddess of the Dead.  You'll be able to pick up Go To Hel, Hope for Heaven from 11/2 - 11/5 for $8.50, no cap.  Let's jump in so I can tell you more about this polish!
