February 2020 PPU & IPU: Flora & Fauna

Afternoon y'all!  It's been a fairly unproductive Wednesday for me.  Had to take the baby to the doctor (he's ok) then decided to get a spur of the moment pedi.  But it wasn't really spur of the moment because I was in jeans and tennis shoes and didn't have any of my own polishes to take so I made a stop at home first to remedy all those problems.  I guess I'm embracing Spring, even though it's my least favorite season, and went with a soft, shimmery, shifty pink.  But you're here to find out about the upcoming PPU and IPU!  February is Flora & Fauna themed...good theme for Valentine's Day and Spring!  The nice thing is that you're not just going to get bombarded with pinks and purples (thank GAWD).  I'm seeing blues and greens and grey and even a yellow and orange!  The Pickups will be open from 2/7 - 2/10.  Don't forget to shop early to get those capped items you really want!

Happy Saturday!  I've had a really great couple of days.  Yesterday I hosted a Friendsgiving get together and spent the afternoon with some of my beautiful friends.  It was fun times chatting, being silly and eating yummy food that everyone brought.  Plus it's just nice to hang out with them outside of sweaty workouts.  That night I went out with my besties for some ceramics painting fun (and more snacks and beverages).  As usual, we were the loudest, rowdiest moms up in the place.  Today was a soccer game in Monterey so we stayed for a delish seafood lunch and walked around Cannery Row.  Now before I shovel some oatmeal pumpkin cookies in my face I'm sharing this quickie post with you before all that goes down!

Lollipop Posse; Hella Handmade Creations, August 2019 - I Make Things Want Things

Good day to you.  And happy middle of the week.  Still on the back to school countdown.  1 week to go and Dobby is FREEEEEEE!  I think I am more nervous than excited this year because 2 of my kids are starting a new school.  I know they'll be fine though.  I changed schools a few times as a kid and my husband did a lot.  I mean A LOT.  And he was totally fine too.  Just my being a mom, hoping they make friends, have someone to sit with at lunch. Lollipop Posse: July 2019 Tarot

Good afternoon!  It was a gorgeous day here today but after a whole week at the pool we decided to fore go swimming and go out for lunch.  And lunch we did!  Philly cheese steak sandwiches, cheese fries and milkshake-like boba drinks.  Mmmmmm.  Now we are chilling in the house, napping, cleaning, watching tv, whatever we all want to do until it's time for soccer practises to start.  Overall a nice day!  And it gives me time to sit down at a decent hour (not 1am) to type up a post or two.  Ahhh, living my best life. Evening dears!  I have another post with Lollipops to share with you tonight!  These are releasing tomorrow so I didn't want to wait until the morning to share them, let's just do it now!  So this is the Tour '73 Collection, inspired by the movie Almost Famous.  I have seen this movie once and it was along time ago.  I know it has Kate Hudson as a groupie and a guy on a roof who yells "We're golden Gods!" before jumping in the pool.  That's about it.  What I do know is that I can vouch for the beauty of this collection.  A rainbow of colors with shimmers and flakes.  Definitely great for accenting your outfits at some Summer rock 'n roll concerts!
