Envy Lacquer; Very Important Mermaid

Hullo again!  Keeping up with my plan to get all my drafts out of my que, I have another oldie post to share with you today!  Another beautiful polish from The Indie Shop held in San Francisco back in July 2017.  Swatching these polishes and looking a them again makes me so bummed that NorCal gets the shaft with all the nail polish conventions.  San Francisco is a huge city, as are most cities in the Bay Area.  There are plenty of other things to do here once the convention is over.  But I guess we get no love so don't mind me, I'll just go kick rocks.  Anywho, Envy is the brand that organizes TIS and usually has a few show exclusives for sale, Very Important Mermaid was one of those for the San Fran event.  Of course, this is no longer available but I wold highly suggest you keep watch on the upcoming TIS events and especially the event exclusive products - they are always lovely!

Painted Polish; Diving for Doubloons

Hey hey all!  Remember when I said that yesterday I was going to start getting all my drafts out of my Queen?  Well I'm back with a second post to share with you!  This is a real oldie and is definite not available anymore, unless you find it in a destash.  So way back when in July 2017 I went to The Indie Shop in San Francisco.  I've talked about it before and mentioned that it was a mermaid themed event (so fun).  This is one of the polishes I picked up from the event - Painted Polish Diving for Doubloons.  I love me a good glitter cruelly and this one was really fantastic!  Let's jump in and check it out.

Envy Lacquer + Never Enuff Polish; TIS San Francisco Duo, Boat Snack & Beyond the Reef

Morning dears!  Exciting game this morning!  Who are we rooting for, Croatia or France?  Truthfully neither are "MY" team so I am just enjoying the game. Anywho, looking through old polish I haven't swatched/shared with you and realized I didn't do anything from The Indie Shop that was in San Francisco last summer.  It was a really fun event, mermaid themed, my daughter enjoyed it as well.  I really hope they plan on coming back to the Bay Area soon!  So this was a duo available at the show, created by Envy Lacquer and Nvr Enuff, I think they actually came with a cute frosty blue shot glass but I don't remember where I put that.  They were inspired by the movie Moana.  Of course these aren't available now, but both shops have lots of gorgeous polish to pick from so head over to their sites to check them out.

Nail of the Day: Girly Bits, Darling Diva Polish, Polished for Days & CND Vinylux

Evening dears!  Popping in while I wait in the car for my kiddo to finish soccer practice.  I almost didn't take him because this afternoon a thunder and lightning storm acme on out of the blue!  My daughter and I saw about 5 lightening strikes just in a 10 minute period!  And the thunder was so loud!  Then it poured on us.  All the while it's 90 degrees out.  So yeah I wasn't sure I was going to take him, but the weather cleared up so here we are.  Anywho...I swatch so many reviews these days that I hardly ever wear polish for myself anymore.  I think I'm going to start collecting a few here and there to share my Nail of the Day posts.  Tonight I have 4 different polishes from 4 different brands to share with you!  So let's jump in and see what I wear on my days off from swatching!

Born Pretty Store No Smudge Topcoat

Afternoon dears!  I'm melting into a puddle here at the gymnastics center but it's all good, it's lie a workout with me even having to do anything.  Haha, ok, it's not really a workout.  But I swear I'm sweating just as much as when I ran in the heat this morning.  You know with all the Fall stuffs coming out and me sharing those posts now I totally forgot to share this one that I did back in July.  My daughter and I went to The Indie Shop San Francisco, which was mermaid themed, and I did nails to go with that theme!  First off, I had a blast.  I love that TIS is a smaller, personable event.  I've been to 2 and even when the crowd is big and the line is long, there's still plenty of time to meet makers and other nail polish fanatics.  So I'm hoping that there will be another TIS close by because I'll definitely attend again.  So this mani was a fun little stamping project with KBShimmer, a Moyou London plate and Born Pretty Shop No Smudge topcoat.  The No Smudge Topcoat is available HERE for $2.59.  Don't forget you can save 10% using my code JTOW10.  Ok, let's check out polish.

Beauty Review: Ittse Cosmetics - The Polo Fields Makeup Collection

Good evening!  I have a makeup review for you and I am really excited about it!  I had heard of Ittse back in the Summer of 2015 because they were at CosmoProf.  Sadly I missed their booth.  But this past July I made sure to stop by and hear about their brand.  Their displays were so beautiful I was immediately smitten.  I know I'm a nail polish junkie but I like makeup as much as the next beauty blogger so I was very excited to head home with the extremely generous gift package they gave me.  So basically Itsse takes the makeup palette and makes it completely customizable for the consumer.  You purchase a case, and "coins" of eyeshadow, blush, highlighter, lipstick and you create your own look.  You can also buy curated looks which set you up with all you need for a complete kit.  Curated sets are about $80 while individual coins start at $8.  Let's jump in and I'll tell you more about the brand before I show you my swatches.
