Good morning friends! This post is coming to you straight from a hotel bedroom. I swear people, my life has been turned upside down, sideways and 180 degrees lately. But I'm still rolling with the punches, trying to get all my posts done. So this morning I have the Stella Chroma Americana Collection for you. It's inspired by sights and landmarks across the US. They are available now and until 4/26 you can get them at a discounted rate! The Americana collection 4-piece set is $41 now, each individual bottle is $12. And don't forget you can save 15% using my code MNPO. Let's jump in and check out the collection.
Up first I have Cherry Blossoms, a creamy pale pink with silver holo flakies. Gorgeous color for the Spring season! The holo flakies are subtle but add the perfect amount of sparkle. This polish was inspired by the beautiful cherry blossom trees in Washington D.C. I used 2 thin coats for almost full opacity. I'd keep the coats thin and use as few as possible. When I originally painted my nails I used 3 coats and it got a bit too thick. Finished with topcoat.
We're Golden is my favorite because it's inspired by the Golden Gate Bridge in my home state of California! It's a medium-deep toned orange with golden flakies and golden shimmer and a touch of holo. I absolutely get Golden Gate vibes here, looking at this polish. Pretty cool! Formula and application were both great, no issues to mention. 2 coats plus topcoat.
And this beauty is called Fenway. Inspired by the Green Monster in Fenway Park, Boston. It's a springy green that leans a teensy bit teal on me. Maybe made more so because of the sunlight. Creamy and opaque formula. No issues with either. I used 2 coats and topcoat.
And finally we have The Arch. It's a silvery holo polish inspired by The Arch in St. Louis. Love how this one looks in the sun! The little sparks of rainbows are so pretty. I found the first coat a bit sheer but it built up nicely in 3 coats. I did not use any topcoat.
