Makeup Review: Milk Makeup

Good morning!   I can't believe it's December 5th!  I am so behind on all the stuff I need to do!  Shop for presents, cookie ingredients, bake cookies, mail out Christmas cards...I don't even have a tree yet! Argh!  I just watched Bad Moms Christmas and I totally relate - Christmas is so stressful, there is so much pressure to make and do everything perfectly.  Makes me dislike the holiday - guess I can't shake that Grinch vibe this year, oh well.  Something that makes me feel less Grinchy is playing with new makeup.  I have purchased a few Milk Makeup items in the past and saw they were a featured brand on Haute Look recently so I took the discounted opportunity to get some more things to give a try!  Let's jump in and check out what I purchased...but I will say that I liked them all and will absolutely buy more products from this brand!

Makeup Review: NudeStix; Creator's Palette

Evening!  So I haven't "really" posted in a week, I've just been sharing posts that I previously wrote and scheduled while I was in the hospital having a baby!  I officially had my sweet little Liam, my number 4, on 11/3.  So hang with me as I'll likely be MIA for a bit, randomly posting things as I can while the baby sleeps or I have extra arms to help hold him.  I have plenty of things to work through in my possession but probably won't be accepting new items for review until after the New Year.  So tonight I have a fun makeup brand to share.  I heard about Nudestix from bloggers who went to CPNA over the summer.  I clicked the brand link and was then completely big brothered on social media and my news feed was flooded with the brand.  I gave in, they won.  But I'm glad I did because I wear these every day!  The concept, in the simplest terms, is makeup in stick form.  Lipstick, blush, concealer, highlighter.  This is the Creator's Palette.  I'm guessing that the people behind these 6 shades work for Nudestix?  But it was the colors that drew me in.  Super pretty shades that look great for every occasion.  Freckle was the one that sealed the deal...I needed Freckle.  It's the one I wear the most.  You can purchase the Creator's Palette HERE for $59...if not for you, maybe a fantastic Christmas present!

Beauty Review: Born Pretty Jelly Temperature Control Lipstick

Good morning again loves!  Happy Thursday...it's almost Friday, that means it's almost Saturday. Woot woot!  I'm so tired I could use a break or a bottle of wine OR both!  Well as I plug through today I felt like sharing makeup so I'll have 2 posts for you to read.  The first is this fun Jelly Lipstick from Born Pretty Store.  I've seen these lovely, see-thru lipsticks with a flower in them for some time now, I had some credits to spend so I picked one up!  There are 3 color options, they are $3.29 each and you can save 10% using my code JTOW10.  If you want the direct link to the Jelly Lipstick it's right HERE.  Okie dokie, let's talk lipstick!

Bitter Lace Beauty Highlighters; Slay and Hocus Pocus

Yes I know Halloween is behind us, but it doesn't mean I can't still use gorgeous Halloween themed makeup.  I still like to be shimmery, sparkly and pretty all year long.  So I'll go to these highlighters whenever I feel the need for a little extra glowy.  I picked these up from Bitter Lace Beauty.  One day I was playing around on Instagram, clicking on accounts to check new-to-me things out led me to this amazing makeup brand.  I was immediately hooked.  And there were all these stunning Halloween highlighters.  Yeah, I was a goner.  I had to get some so I picked the 2 that spoke to me most; Slay and Hocus Pocus.  It looks like all the LE Halloween highlighters have been taken down now, but by browsing the sold items it's clear Bitter Lace Beauty specializes in LE highlighters.  I paid $28 each for these so I'd guesstimate any future collection will be the same price point.  I'd suggest following the Instagram account to see what's coming next...and can I just say I am eagerly anticipating the holiday ones!?  I bet they'll be amazing!
