Top Shelf Lacquer; Fun Bar Quotes Collection

Hello beauties!  I hope your Thursday was great!  Mine was because it rained today.  I don't even care that I got rained on during my run because 2 out of 3 kids practices were canceled and I didn't have to run around like a crazy woman tonight.  I got home at a descent hour and got to finish up my dinner, which was a bomb pork butt that I shredded up into carnitas for tacos.  Taco Thursday...why not!  Thursday night is also typically ladies night but since I don't get to do that I do get to show you the Top Shelf Lacquer Fun Bar Quotes collection!  This is a 4-piece multichrome collection and it's pretty amazing!  This collection launched in August, so you can get your favorites now.  The 8ml bottle is $8.50 and the 15ml bottles is $12.  Ready for pictures?

Darling Diva Polish Deadpool Collection Part 2; Even Deader (some names are NSFW!)

Good evening dears!  Sorry for not getting this post up yesterday.  Sometimes family life just takes it out of me and I find myself flopped down face first on the bed by the end of the day.  Truthfully I feel like that again tonight but for different reasons.  So here I am tonight with the post I promised yesterday.  Carrie did it again!  The first Deadpool collection was so fabulous she created Part 2; Even Deader.  Let me again tell you that some of the names on these polishes aren't for young eyes or for a work environment.  You've been warned!  The Deadpool Collection Part 2; Even Deader is available for purchase now and the colors range from $10-$12.  Some of the polish in this collection are single pour so don't wait if you want flipping sexy holo flakes and multi chromes then this collection will totally be your slow jam.  This post is pretty large so grab a drink and let's get started!

Nail Polish Related Product Review; Tweexy

Oh My Glob....there's been a disturbance in the force.  The nail polish empire is divided over a new product (gasp), a little piece of colorful and flexible silicone.  It's called a Tweexy.  It's meant to be worn as a ring on two fingers, and to hold your polish bottle enabling you to paint your nails anywhere, not just a flat surface.  From the moment it hit the scene about a month back there has been endless discussion in nail land over whether people love it or hate it.  Most of them haven't even tried it!  Well I did try it and I'm stepping on the battle field with my input and guess what, I think it's pretty cool.  #teamtweexy.  You can pick up a Tweexy on Amazon for $14.95 (free shipping with Prime) but I have heard buzz from a few larger indie brands that are thinking of adding it to their shops!  So let's jump in and see what exactly this contraption is that caused such a hubbub.

China Glaze House Of Colour, Spring 2016

Good afternoon all and happy Saturday!  I want to say my kid's "ski week" was full of fun and adventure, and while we did make a trip to Disneyland it wasn't the best trip we've ever been on.  All 3 of my littles ended up being super grumpy and fighty and sick.  I'm talking fevers and chills and vomit here people.  Not what I was expecting on this vacation.  Fortunately they're all making a turn for the better now and I'm certain they'll be fine when it's time to go back to school on Monday.  But I'll tell ya, I can't wait for the weather to stabilize and warm up.  This hot and cold isn't helping anyone.  So while I hope for Spring (well Summer actually) I figured I'd share the new Spring collection from China Glaze.  This gorgeous set called House Of Colour, is full of shimmers and glitters and cremes. The colors are beautiful and versatile.  I'm pretty sure House Of Colour is available online and in beauty supply stores now.  So jot down your favorites and head out to do some shopping!

Polished by KPT Lumieres

Good evening lovelies!  I'm avoiding laundry by putting up another post.  Why?  Because laundry is my absolute least favorite house chore.  I don't mind the washing and drying, what I do mind is the folding and putting away.  It's so damn taxing.  So I'll avoid my own personal H-E-Double Toothpicks by sharing a gorgeously blingy polish with you!  Yes I am distracting myself with shiny things.  Tonight I have Lumieres from Polished by KPT.  This is a total stunner, if you haven't seen it before or tried Polished by KPT I think this is a perfect introduction to the brand!  Lumieres is available in the shop now for $12 USD.  Now let's look at some pictures!

Cuccio Royale Collection, Fall 2015

Good morning friends!  I've got a good and somewhat lengthy post for you today.  Way back when I was having the time of my life in Las Vegas and rubbing elbows with all the nail polish peeps, I got to meet some lovely folks representing the Cuccio brand.  Now I knew this brand already because I am a fan of their body butters and cuticle sticks.  I also knew they made polish because I'd seen a few of their gels in my local beauty supply store.  Well what I wasn't expecting was to see this (and another) stunning collection displayed at the Tips & Sips event!  The Royale Collection is Cuccio's answer to the Fall season and it's pretty dang perfect!  Rich cremes, shimmery jewel tones and even a multichrome!  While browsing around the Cuccio website I wasn't able to find this collection, but I did see it available on HB Beauty Bar for $8.50 each.  But keep checking the Cuccio website because I'm sure the Royale collection will be available soon.

This is a long post so I'll try to keep each individual blurb short and sweet.  This is Count Me In, a smokey, purple creme.  The formula was creamy and buttery.  I had full coverage in 1 coat of Count Me In.  No topcoat used.

Color Club Cabin Fever, Fall 2015 (partial review)

Good afternoon all!  I've got another post with some great colors for you now!  Have I mentioned that I love this season and all the fabulous colors it brings?  Well I do.  Fall is my favorite.  Now only if the weather would get on board so I can wear my boots and rock my comfy/cozy/big sweaters!  So for now I will just pacify myself by wearing Fall colored nail polish.  This post features the new Color Club Cabin Fever collection for Fall 2015.  I talked a bit about it in my CosmoProf 2015 coverage (you can see it HERE).  Cabin Fever is a collection of 6 shades, all creme, and very classic Fall colors.  I really love the camel shade so I'll be on the look out for that.  The Cabin Fever collection isn't available on the Color Club website yet but it is on Amazon!  Well, I'm ready to talk polish and I have 2 to share with you from Cabin Fever so let's jump in and check them out.

Up first is Favorite Flannel.  This is an orangey-salmon colored creme polish.  I love the shade, it's unique in both color and for a Fall collection but it totally works.  I for one do not shy away from bright colors in the Fall and this is just the right amount of pop to brighten up any wardrobe!  The formula and application were both stellar.  I used 2 coats of Favorite Flannel (did I mention that I love the name and it makes me think of my grunge girl ways in the 1990's) and no topcoat.  Yup, nice and glossy with no topcoat!

The other polish I have to share is Take A Hike.  Again, love the name and the color!  This is a dusty denim blue creme.  I was a tad worried when I applied Take A Hike because the first coat was patchy and thin but the second coat leveled everything up perfectly!  So I'll go ahead and say that the formula and application were both lovely.  I used 2 coats of Take A Hike and no topcoat.

Glisten & Glow Cocktails Anyone? Partial Review; Midori Sour & Raspberry Margarita

Good evening dears!  I am back from CosmoPro and have so many pictures and exciting things to share with you!  Of course it's gong to take me a good amount of time to get those post up so hang tight while I work on those.  I also have about a zillion polishes to share as well, some of which will be released very soon so I thought I'd try to share some of those right away.  The first collection is the upcoming Glisten & Glow Cocktails Anyone? collection.  This collection consists of 8 polishes (which I believe are all linear holos) in fun, drink inspired names.  Cocktails Anyone? goes on sale on 7/24 at 7pm EST.  I also have a discount code to share with you!  You can save 15% by using CPNA2015 until 9/30/15.  So let's jump in and see what the 2 holos look like that I received in my gift bag from attending the Cocktails & Colors party!

Up first is Midori Sour.  Yum yum!  This is a golden chartreuse shade - a perfect blend of yellow and green.  The linear holo is strong and beautiful.  I found the formula and application both fantastic.  Easy to work with, smooth and opaque.  I only needed 2 coats of Midori Sour for full coverage.  It wasn't needed, but since I had a bottle of HK Girl topcoat to use I did.

The other shade I received in my bag was Raspberry Margarita.  Another yum drink.  This is a bright berry/pink linear holo.  Again the holo effect is uber strong and gorgeous.  The color is fabulous - I mean who doesn't love a perfect pink?  Formula and application were just like the last; easy to use, smooth flowing, opaque.  I used 2 coats of Raspberry Margarita for full coverage and though it didn't need it I used 1 layer of HK Girl topcoat.  It definitely added a glossy glass effect to the polish.
