Nail Polish Related Product Review; Tweexy

Oh My Glob....there's been a disturbance in the force.  The nail polish empire is divided over a new product (gasp), a little piece of colorful and flexible silicone.  It's called a Tweexy.  It's meant to be worn as a ring on two fingers, and to hold your polish bottle enabling you to paint your nails anywhere, not just a flat surface.  From the moment it hit the scene about a month back there has been endless discussion in nail land over whether people love it or hate it.  Most of them haven't even tried it!  Well I did try it and I'm stepping on the battle field with my input and guess what, I think it's pretty cool.  #teamtweexy.  You can pick up a Tweexy on Amazon for $14.95 (free shipping with Prime) but I have heard buzz from a few larger indie brands that are thinking of adding it to their shops!  So let's jump in and see what exactly this contraption is that caused such a hubbub.

And now let me teach you how to Tweexy.  First of all Tweexy comes in 3 colors.  The picture above from left to right is; Spa Green, Sapphire Blue and BonBon Pink.  It's a soft and flexible silicone that "fits all bottles and fingers."  It's meant to help hold your bottle of nail polish while you paint your nails.  The idea behind it is that you can wear it and paint your nails anywhere, no flat surface needed.  Paint in the car, on your bed, at the beach.  Of course everyone paints their nails differently so this product may not work for those that get in yoga type positions to paint, but I personally paint with my hand out straight and it worked great for me.  Here are some pictures of the Tweexy out of it's cute packaging.

And I got a few pictures of myself painting my nails while wearing the Tweexy.  This is how I hold my hand while I paint you can see there is no fear of tipping or spilling the bottle of polish.  I will definitely use this when I'm hanging out on my bed watching tv and when I'm shotgun in the car - I'm often painting in a rush on the way to an event or outing.  So my opinion?  I definitely think you should give Tweexy a try!
