Good morning lovely internet friends! There are several great indie releases are happening this weekend and they are pretty exciting! I know Sweet Heart Polish will have a few new polishes coming out sometime today (1/30) and Feeling Dapper is one of them. I love this simple but classy glitter topper. Feeling Dapper is inspired by a popular event at Disneyland called Dapper Day. Everyone gets dressed up old-timey, dapper and looking their best. And what's more dapper than a neat bowtie? Not much! So Cassandra, inspired by those well dressed Disneyland guests, created Feeling Dapper. This polish is a a mixture of bows in every color under the rainbow and lots of silvery shimmer. I started with a base of Barielle Soho At Night and sponged on 2 coats of bows. As with most larger glitters, the bows are a bit heavier and I found it easiest to get them out and put them on a sponge to apply that way instead of directly on my nails. I had better control of placement as well as the base:glitter ratio. TIn person the shimmer stands out well over all the colors I tried (white, pink, purple), but I chose the Barielle as the one to share because the darker shade allowed the shimmer in Feeling Dapper to be seen easiest. I finished with a thick layer of topcoat and left for the day feeling quite fancy with my bowtie mani!
