6 Harts Nice Peaches

Good afternoon!  I just finished up a yummy lunch and plopped myself on the couch.  I have to get up again to head to Target soon - school supply shopping.  But for now I will just let my belly feel nice and full and veg out.  But since it takes practically zero effort to type I decided to hop on and share a post with you!  Today I have another beauty I picked up from the Cocktails & Colors indie after party while in Vegas for CosmoProf.  6 Harts created this gorgeous peachy polish as  July exclusive for the event.  While this is currently an exclusive color it "may" be available sometime in the future.  So kee your fingers crossed for that!  You ready to check it out?  Then let's go!

So this peach beauty is Nice Peaches.  Nice Peaches is a pinky-peach shade with a light helping of ultra chrome flakies, golden shimmer and just a touch of holo.  I found the polish creamy and opaque and very fabulous to use.  I had no issues with formula or application.  Honestly, this is my favorite 6 Harts polish that Courtney has created.  Everything about it is aces.  Plus I have a huge weakness for polish in this color family.  I used 2 coats of Nice Peaches and 1 layer of topcoat to finish.

Lady Queen Nail Decorations Review

Hello dear followers and happy Monday!  I generally don't hate Monday's, I just find them tiring.  There are only 2 weeks of Summer left for my kids so I will probably be gathering up school supplies, a few new outfits and any other necessities that the kids might need for their first day back.  I can't believe how fast the Summer has gone by!  One thing that I do enjoy is the transition from Summer to Fall.  My post today, featuring nail decorations from Lady Queen, shows 2 looks - one Summery and the other has an Autumn feel.  This is my first time receiving items from Lady Queen.  The selection in the online shop is very extensive - nail art, plates, decals, makeup and tools, accessories, hair, etc...  I will let you know that shipping is international and isn't the speediest.  So if you see something you want, and know you want it for a future occasion please order with plenty of time for it to arrive.  The shop will let you know that it take 3-5 weeks for items to arrive.  I also have a 15% off code of you to use, GCLC15.  Now let's jump into this post!

This is the 5mm Multi Colored 3D Star Studs.  I loved the neon colors and haven't seen anyone do nail art with this shape of studs before.  I started with a simple neon pink and purple gradient.  I then added stars to the middle where the colors blended, where the 2 colors meet.  There are 6 colors in the wheel and plenty of stars to do several manis.  The stars are a bit larger so you probably couldn't fit more than 4 or 5 on your nail, depending on your length.  I was surprised that with their size the stars laid fairly flat, only my pinky had any edges sticking up.  I applied a layer of topcoat to my gradient and then stuck the stars on with tweezers.  They held on great and none popped off.

I also had the 5mm 3D Metallic Roses to try out.  When I opened these I thought "WHOA these are HUGE!"  And they are!  They are very 3D and stick off your nails quite a bit but they look so pretty on my nails!  I think that they would bother me for daily wear, but for a special occasion or just a night out they are fantastic!  So this wheel came with 12 different matte-metallic shades of roses and the colors are great for any season.  I went for a Fall look and picked some jewel tone roses.  I used a shimmery/sparkly deep blue polish with an soft-shimmery nude accent nail.  I applied the roses much like I did the neon stars.  I put a layer of topcoat on my nails, then using tweezers I applied the roses to precisely where I wanted them.  I would suggest nail glue if you plan to wear the roses for more than an hour or two because I don't think the topcoat will keep them on for long.  These are nail decorations that will be easy to remove and re-use too.

Elevation Polish Marco Polo Collection (partial collection review)

Good evening again dears!  Man oh man I had a tiring weekend.  I could close my eyes and sleep for an entire day.  I am a packer - meaning I make plans that fill up the entire weekend.  How was your weekend?  Hopefully more relaxing than mine.  But I also got some posts ready to share with you!  So yay for being productive!  I want to share this one with you first because the release date for the new Marco Polo Collection from Elevation Polish is coming up soon.  Inspired by the Netflix series Marco Polo, this collection is full of rich tones and luxurious finishes.  You can purchase The Marco Polo Collection on 8/7 at 9pm CST!  I have 3 of the 7 polishes from the collection to share with you now - you can see the full collection at Ashley Is Polish Addicted and Adventures In Acetone.  I simply adored them all and I think you will too!  Let's delve in to the post, shall we?

Up first I have Zhenjin.  This is a "true burnished gold metallic medium density holo."  It's gorgeous. And it looks like liquid gold on my nails.  Zhenjin is very opaque and has a formula that was very easy to work with.  I think this posh would work for stamping too!  I'd only mention that if you over work the polish on your nails you might end up with visible brushstrokes.  I used 2 coats of Zhenjin and no topcoat.

Le Citta Invisibli is a "purple leaning taupe with ultra chrome flakies."  I also see some shimmer in there!  This is such a unique polish.  The color, the finish.  I have absolutely nothing like it and I am over the moon in love with it.  This base color is so beautiful and neutral.  The addition of the ultra chrome flakies is a perfect touch of flare - but not overwhelmingly so.  The formula and application were both perfect.  Smooth, buttery, creamy.  I used 2 coats of Le Citta Invisibli for full coverage and 1 layer of topcoat.

And finally there is Saif al Jabbar.  Yeah, this was my favorite.  It's absolutely stunning.  And have I mentioned how happy I am with all these earthy shades?  Well I am!  Saif al Jabbar has a "blackened base with red shift to gold shimmer and medium density holo."  This polish is so deep and dark, it's almost a purple-chocolatey shade.  It's definitely delicious!  That red shimmer - swoon!  The formula and application were both fabulous.  I used 2 coats of Saif al Jabbar and no topcoat.

Girly Bits Stardust, Ehmkay Nails Blogiversary Polish

Good evening!  I hope it's not too late for you out there in polish land.  I am sitting on the couch wondering why I'm so darn hot in my living room.  Couldn't be that I spent the entire day out in the sun playing soccer and my body is still recovering.  Nope, that's not it at all.  Maybe I am sweating because I am looking at my pictures of this new Girly Bits polish coming out and it's so beautiful I am getting a bit heated.  Yup, that's definitely it!  This beauty is Stardust.  It's a blogger collaboration shade with Michelle from Ehmkay Nails for her blogiversary.  Michelle and Pam did a great job on this polish, it's a really fantastic summer shade!  Stardust will be available sometime in mid-August.  You ready for some polish porn?  Bow-chicka-wow-wow!

Stardust is described as a "silvery light lavender holo, with pink and blue shimmer and neon microglitters."  Love it.  So much.  The neon microglitters against the holo make for a fun and unique polish.  The formula and application were both great.  I had full coverage with 2 coats of Stardust.  I finished up with a layer of topcoat!
