Alter Ego January Polish Pick Up Exclusive: Rose Quartz

Afternoon dears! Ok I'm back home now and gonna share a couple back to back posts because it's getting down to the wire for the Polish Pickup to open up.  I believe it opens at 11am tomorrow (not sure if that's EST or PST).  The theme is Crystals and Gemstones so you know that brought us lots of gorgeous, whimsical shades and ethereal whites and color shifting flakes and beautiful shimmers.  Alter Ego chose to represent the Rose Quartz, which was always one of my favorite stones when I was a kid.  Yes, like basically the rest of the population in the 80's and 90's I collected "rocks".  But that's got nothing to do with this post so let's jump on in and see what Cynthia came up with for us to enjoy!  Don't forget, Polish Pickup is open from 1/5-1/8 and Rose Quartz will be $7.

ellagee 2016 Pantone Duo; Blue Bella & A Breath Of Pink

Good morning lovelies!  Last month the new Pantone color was revealed.  But it wasn't just 1 color this year, it was 2, yay!  Actually I have heard a lot of grumbling about the colors selected; Rose Quartz and Serenity.  Truthfully I am not a huge fan of their selections either, but I think both shades are perfect for the Spring and together they make for great nail art!  ellagee took that inspiration and came up with 2 great crellies, full of soft and subtle with matching shimmer.   Blue Bella and A Breath Of Pink will both be available on Saturday 1/23 at 3pm Central.  They will be $10.50 USD each.   So let's delve into the post and we can take a look at both colors and some easy nail art I did with them together.

Smitten Polish 2016 Color of the Year Duo; Of Quartz It Is & Serenity NOW

Good evening dears!  Hope you had a fabulous weekend.  Mine was full of soccer and running and bad weather.  Now that I look back at it all jeesh, I'm exhausted!  But tomorrow there is a launch that you'll definitely want to know about so I'm here to share that now!  I'm sure you've seen the announcement of the 2016 Pantone Color of the Year and that it's not 1 color but 2!  If you haven't seen yet HERE it is - Rose Quartz and Serenity.  A pink and a blue.  Both are lovely alone (albeit a bit baby shower-ish) but together they make a showstopper!  Anywho, Smitten Polish came up with these beautiful holo micro glitters in the 2 Pantone shades.  The Color of the Year Duo will be available as a duo and individually on Monday 12/14 at 2pm Central.  The Christmas In Stars Hollow Collection will also be available again tomorrow (you can see my post for that collection HERE).  Set your clocks people!   Now let's jump in and check these beauties out.
