6Harts Polish Red Letter Day & Midnight Delight

Good morning lovelies!  So sorry for my lack of and sparse posting.  I'll be making a huge effort to get back into daily posting and I'm going to start with this review of more beautiful 6Harts Polish creations.  I recently put up a post with some of the new glitters Courtney released and you can see them HERE!  Courtney makes some truly gorgeous polish, you can buy them in her shop and see many pictures on Facebook and Instagram (6harts).  I love that she also posts food, animal pictures, the scenery she gets to see daily and her bees! She's a bee keeper, how cool is that?!  She also has really beautiful manis!  Definitely a gal you want to follow for so many reasons!!

So this stunner is Red Letter Day.  RLD uses Carmine in it to create the raspberry red base color.  There are also glass fleck glitters that have a purple sparkle to them.  There is also a light sprinkling of holo shimmer in there.  All together it's a subtle and beautiful effect.  RLD applied like a crelly, shiny and squishy but more of a creme formula than jelly.  The formula was great and it applied beautifully.  I used 3 coats of RLD.  You could wear it alone without topcoat and have a shiny finish, but because it's habit I used one layer of topcoat.

It was a tough decision, but I will say that Midnight Delight was my favorite from the 4 I had to review.MD is a deep eggplant purple with purple shimmer and a tiny amount of small white and gold glitters.  It ever so slightly reminds me of that hazy purple that you see in Chanel Paradoxal (and the slew of dupes).  But the color on MD is much more vibrant and the haze is uber subtle.  This is going to be an amazing polish to wear all year round but especially for the Fall and Winter time.  Check out how vampy it is in the indoor picture!  The formula on MD was wonderful!  I used 3 coats to get the deepest purple effect (2 would have been fine).  Application was a breeze, no issues to report.  I finished with 1 layer of topcoat.  I just have to say if you are a purple polish lover you need this in your stash…it's truly stunning!

6Harts Polish Cluster & Rabbit Food

Morning all!  I wish I had a cinnamon roll to eat, or pancakes or bread pudding….it was a long night.  Sigh.  But today is a new day and I have some pretty glitters to share with you!  YAY!  These lovely polishes come from 6Harts Polish.  6Harts is a great brand run by a great gal!  I have done some reviews of this brand before, here are the links for Secret Galaxy, Bat Crap Crazy, Summer Skies and Cloud Sculptures.  You can follow 6Harts on Facebook, Instagram (6hartspolish) and purchase Courtney's creations on Etsy.   Let's talk about polish shall we?  I'm starting with the glitters!

Cluster is a beautiful glitter combination.  It's full of white, teal, iridescent and purple glitters with holographic shimmer all in a clear base.  It's so pretty, the teal squares are my favorite part of this polish.      And just look at that sparkle!  This baby really shines in sunlight!  The glitter in Cluster was suspended well and it came out easily with each brush dip.  Application and formula were great, no issues to report.  I used 2 layers of Cluster over 1 coat of OPI Ski Teal We Drop.  I finished with 1 layer of topcoat.

The other glitter I had to review is Rabbit Food.  How adorable is the name of this polish?  I totally envision a cute little flop eared fluffy bunny hopping around eating carrots, celery and the like (what do rabbits really eat besides carrots?).  Rabbit Food is another clear based polish.  But this one has gold circles (woot!), iridescent squares, mate white squares and hexs.  Just like Cluster, Rabbit Food had a wonderful formula and application was great!  Plenty of glitter came out with each brush dip, with no fishing necessary. Guess what part of this polish is my favorite….THE CIRCLES!  Am I really that predictable?  I used 2 coats of Rabbit Food over 2 layers of Essie Stylenomics.  I finished with 1 layer of topcoat.
