Different Dimension, Dorothy Dandridge; August 2017 Polish Pick Up

Good morning dears!  I've got a long, sun-worshiping kind of a day with my kids today.  I'm taking them over to the beach today.  I haven't been since my beach sand soccer tournament so I'm looking forward to just parking my butt on some sand and watching the kids play.  But for now I'm back with another Polish Pick Up post to share with you.  As I mentioned yesterday, the theme for August is Old Hollywood.  So think about all that glitz and glamour those stars and starlets had!  All the polishes I've watched (and seen so far) are spot on...classy and gorgeous!  Different Dimension picked Dorothy Dandridge as the inspiration for her polish and let me just say this one is a doozy!  Dorothy Dandridge will be available from 8/4-8/7 for $10 USD on the Polish Pick Up site.

Alter Ego, Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra; August 2017 Polish Pick Up

Afternoon all!  It's not as hot of a day today, thankfully.  Sitting in the sun during swim lessons has been wearing me out!  Today we are headed to the local farm team baseball game!  Woot, go San Jose Giants!  I also get today was a good day to start sharing the Polish Pick Up shades I have!  The August Polish Pick Up theme is Old Hollywood!  I've been perusing pics of the polishes and they are all amazing!  Alter Ego provided a polish this month and it's inspired by Elizabeth Taylor's portrayal of Cleopatra.  Super glamorous and opulent!  The starlets these days could take notes on class and glamour from these old school Hollywood sirens.  But I digress...Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra is gorgeous shade that'll be available from 8/4-8/7.  Check out my pictures below!
