Colors by Llarowe Grape Big Kiss & Controlled Chaos

Good morning and happy Saturday!  We made it through another gruelling week and now we can all sit back and look at nail polish.  Actually I'm feeling a bit bummed because there are so many restocks this weekend (starting from yesterday) and I can't buy anything.  Not because I'm on a no-buy but because I've collected money from the other parents on my daughters soccer team to buy a coach gift.  How horrible would I be if I spent all that money on nail polish!  So I have to wait until I buy this dern gift card.  Hopefully today.  Anywho...I have some Colors by Llarowe to share.  Now I don't really have much information about either of these, I'm not sure if they are from past collections, future collections or if they were just trial colors.  But I thought they were both lovely so I'm showing them to you.
While thee 2 may not be available you can purchase other gorgeous Colors by Llarowe at  You can follow Llarowe on Facebook for stock updates, flash giveaways and sales.  Llarowe is also on Instagram and Twitter.

Grape Big Kiss is a really pretty deep purple jelly polish with sparkly blue shimmer.  The first coat was pretty sheer, but it built up very well.  I ended up using 4 coats.  In the pictures you can see a tiny bit of patchiness up by my cuticles but to the naked eye my nails were even and well covered (dern camera).  What I liked best about about Grape Big Kiss was how shiny it was all on it's own.  Application and formula were both great.  I did not use topcoat.

I topped the mani with Controlled Chaos.  This was a really beautiful iridescent flakie topper in a slightly purple tinted base.  There were loads of iridescent glitters in here!  Some of the colors I saw were cobalt blue, teal and copper...gorgeous!  I used 2 coats and had plenty of glitter come out with each brush dip.  The flakies spread well and evenly on my nails.  No application or formula errors to report.  I used 2 layers and no topcoat.
