June 2019 Polish Pickup & Indie Pickup; Weather

Good morning!  I'm ahead of the game and sharing the June Pickups so you can get your wish list ready!  The June Pickups theme is "weather" and makers got way more creative with this theme than I expected, which is great!  PPU & IPU will be open from 6/7 - 6/10 and like all my recent Pickup posts, I'll have individual prices and information in the body of the post.  So let's jump in and see what's good!

Dreamland Lacquer Rain on Titan was inspired by the rain on Saturn's largest moon, Titan. First of all space is hella cool.  Secondly, this polish is gorgeous.  It's a bright green crelly full of iridescent flakes and shimmers.  As with all of Noelie's fabulous crellies, the formula and application were both great.  Even and opaque coverage in 3 coats plus topcoat.

Lollipop Posse gives us Hurricane Realness.  This was inspired by Hurricane Bianca/Bianca del Rio. It's a soft purple with hints of silver holo with pink/purple aurora shimmer, shifty iridescent flakes, ultra chameleon chrome flakes.  Karen is like a wizard with her polish mixes!   Awesome formula and application.  I used 3 coats and topcoat.

This is Twin Waterspouts and it's a beautiful metallic chrome teal/blue with holo!  It was inspired by a photo of two waterspouts over Lake Michigan, what an equally crazy sight and occurrence.  Beautiful polish too! The formula is a bit thick but it was easy enough to apply once I got the hang of it.  2 coats and no topcoat.

What Does This Mean from KBShimmer was inspired by a double rainbow Christy took a picture of on a recent trip.  I can't help but think of the viral video with the guy literally losing his sh!t over a double rainbow, so funny! Anywho - it's a magical Caribbean blue base with holo glow flakes and aurora shimmer.  Awesome formula and easy breezy application.  I used 2 coats and topcoat.

What Does This Mean, $10, no cap

KBShimmer also has a scrub available in the Indie Pickup.  This is After the Rain Sugar Scrub.  It's a super fun rainbow colored scrub that smells like melon, raspberries, lemonade, coconut and sugar (sounds like a perfect hot day drink!).  You use this like any other scrub, scoop out the desired amount, rub in circular motion to exfoliate your body.  Rinse off and your skin is left with a light scent for a short while.

After the Rain, $10, no cap

The last things I have for you are from Stella Chroma.  This is Who Is The Drizzle?.  It was inspired by the alter ego of Master Shake from the Aqua Teen Hunger Force.  What in the heck is Jen talking about you ask?  I have no idea!  LOL.  I have never seen this cartoon(?).   But the polish itself is amazing!  White crelly with pink/yellow/gold UCC flakes, gold holo glitter and green shimmer.  The shimmer is pretty subtle but when you catch it it's stunning!  Love this polish, but I adore crellies so I am biased.  I used 3 his coats and topcoat to finish.

Who Is The Drizzle?, $12, no cap

And this months Emulsified Sugar Scrub is Pumpkin Spice Latte.  It smells absolutely amazing and makes me long for cool Autumn days.  PSL are my favorite during that time of the year, and it's fun to get that scent in a different season.  Scoop out a little and rub in circles to exfoliate.  Your skin will be left soft and moisturized!

Pumpkin Spice Latte, $5.50, no cap

  5. These makers outdid themselves with their Weather polishes. I am going to have so much trouble narrowing them down but KBShimmer polish and scrub will be on my list for sure.
