Lollipop Posse Lacquer; IEC 2019 LE Shades - The Best of the Best & The Worst of the Worst

Morning again!  Hope your Friday is running smoothly!  We had some school things to take care of yesterday but today we have 100% nothing to do.  Well I have nothing to do, but my son, who is in Advanced Math, hasn't finished his Summer math homework and only has 5 days of Summer left.  So you know that means we are sitting at home, he gets no mouse, no phone, no tv remote until he finishes it up.  I swear that kid is such a procrastinator.  Other than that I am happy to show you some polishes that will be at the Indie Expo Canada next weekend.  These are both from Lollipop Posse and are Limited Edition.  Whatever doesn't sell at the event will be up for grabs on the website at some point after.  The Best of the Best and The Worst of the Worst will be $13 CAD each.  And if you are thinking of making the trek to Toronto, the IEC is on 8/18 and you can still get tickets HERE.  Until then, keep your fingers crossed for an over-pour/extras announcement from Karen!

Both of these polishes are inspired by "Big God' by Florence and the Machine.

The Best of the Best is a mulberry crelly with red/gold/green shifting pigment and pink/green shifting iridescent flakes.  I also see pink, berry and copper color shifts in this polish.  So pretty!  The formula and application were both great, no problems.  I used 3 thin coats and had great coverage (I could've gotten away with 2 also).  I finished with topcoat.

And now excuse me while I go die over how amazing The Best of the Best looks with matte topcoat. LOOOOVE!

The Worst of the Worst is an ultramarine blue crelly with green shifty shimmer and green/gold shifty UCC flakes.  I'm seeing a lot of teal in here, which makes since since the shifting colors are blue and green.  The flakes really pop with a gold color against the base.  Nice formula, easy application.  I used 2 coats but wish I would have done a 3rd for total color saturation.  Finished with topcoat.

And again, totally amazed at how gorgeous this is with matte topcoat.

  1. Such beautiful shades. And they really pop when you've matte them matte. Great names for them too.

  4. They are both really pretty, but I LOVE how they look matte! I think I prefer them with the matte finish.
