Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer June Polish Pick Up Exclusive: Welcome to the Coast (FFXIV)

Good morning dears!  Hope your Tuesday isn't too Mondayish.  I'm slow moving today, feeling pretty tired from getting poor sleep on our mini vacation.  But that's not going to stop me from sharing my excitement over the June Polish Pickup!  The June theme is video games and there are some seriously great shades available, including this stunning one from Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer.  This is called Welcome to the Coast (FFXIV).  I actually know these Final Fantasy games because early on in our relationship, my hubby played them and I'd watch like it was a movie.  Welcome to the Coast will be available from 6/1-6/4 and will be $12, no cap.  Let's check it out!

Girly Bits Hella Handmade Creations, April 2018 - No Fawkes Given

Good morning!  I'm sad, back on the Mainland.  Wah, that trip was way too fast but I accomplished exactly what I wanted to...nothing at all!  I lounged, relaxed and sat poolside for 5 days.  But now I'm going to have to bust by butt to get back into the swing of swatting and blogging to catch up on some things!  Let's start with this Girly Bits custom created for the newly renamed Hella Handmade Creations group.  This group was FKA Hella Holo Creations and was only nail polish.  Now they have changed their game plan, will include other handmade products (think hand and body care, etc...).  They also have multiple makers sign up with a theme for whatever duration they chose so you could get 4 months of Spring Flowers or 3 months Nautical products.  Girly Bits signed up to do a series of Harry Potter inspired polishes.  The first one, inspired by Fawkes, is called No Fawkes Given.  The HHC will open on 4/14 and you can purchase THIS polish for 7 days, ending on 4/21.  No Fawkes Given will be $13 and there is no cap.  Alright, I just hose fed you a ton of information so let's jump in and check out the polish.

Cupcake Polish Dragon Scales & Ice Ice Baby

Morning beauties!  Hope all is well and you've officially gotten back to the swing or your regular, pre-holiday season self.  Of course there's always New Years Eve but that's just staying up late and drinking, not so much over indulging in an abundance of food.  At least that's how it works in my world.  Speaking of which, any awesome nail art plans for your NYE mani?  Since I'm still vacationing I probably won't have a post but I'll try to share a pic of my mani.  Until then you can enjoy these pretty Cupcakes that I picked up a while back.  Both are unavailable now as they were A) a group custom and B) a box exclusive.  You ready to jump in with this tease of a post?  Ok, let's go then!

Bellaluna Cosmetics Belle of the Ball

Good evening lovelies!  I'm on vacation so the posts you'll see over the next few days will be short but sweet.  I have a very pretty new polish to share with you today - from a new brand!  Bellaluna Cosmetics recently released her Winter 2014 Collection and it was pretty huge!  There were plenty of gorgeous colors and I'm sure there's something for everyone.  The whole collection is currently available and they are $8.50 each.  Let's delve in and check out some pictures!

Bellaluna Cosmetics: Shop, Facebook, Instagram

Belle of the Ball is an "emerald base polish with copper shimmer."  I thought the mixture of the colors was very pretty and unique.  The formula and application were both nice.  There were a few visible brushstrokes but as long as you don't overwork the polish they should be minimal.  I used 2 coats of Belle of the Ball to reach full coverage.  I finished with 1 layer of topcoat for shine and a smooth finish.

Pahlish An Caisteal Ruadh

Good morning!  I am absolutely feeling in the Fall spirit.  I just can't get enough of these deep red, maroon and burgundy shades.  So I suspect you'll be seeing lots of them soon and for a while as I usually wear them all winter long.  So let's start off my total red infatuation with a post featuring a stunning Pahlish from the Royal Reverie Collection.  I'm not sure if Shannon is going to restock this one anymore but it's currently still listed on the site for $9 (but SOLD OUT).  Be sure to check on Friday at 5pm PDT when she restocks the shop.

An Caisteal Ruadh , which means "RedCastle in Scottish Gaelic" is an "oxblood red jelly with a mix of gold and silver flakes and copper shimmer."  It's inspired by the deep brick red colors of the castle.  The color, finish, shimmer, flakies...all complete perfection together.  The formula and application were both fantastic.  It covered superbly well for a jelly and I reached full coverage after 2 coats of An Caisteal Ruadh.  I finished with 1 layer of topcoat to keep the glossy finish.

Girly Bits Blogger Collaborations: Seriously Sassy & Darkly Dreaming

Good morning and happy Friday!  My kids are home from school today - it's a teacher in-service day so I'll have to figure something out for them to do.  But I'll do that later because I really want to show you these gorgeous lacquers from Girly Bits.  Pam has been working together with some bloggers to create a Bloggers Collaboration Collection and I have 2 of them to show you!  They really are fantastic colors and I always love seeing what bloggers come up with as their perfect polish.  The Bloggers Collaboration Collection is currently available and range from $11.00-$12.00 CAD.  Let's jump in and take a look!

*PRESS SAMPLE*

This is Darkly Dreaming, created by Pam and Jen from The PolishAholic.  This is actually a 4th blogiversary polish!  Darkly Dreaming is a deep hunter green jelly full of copper and holo shimmer.  It's so unique and pretty!  The formula was superb and had great coverage for a jelly.  I have on 3 coats of Darkly Dreaming, you can see there is still a very slight visible nail line, maybe a 4th coat would have covered it completely?  I finished with 1 layer of topcoat.

The other Bloggers Collaboration Collection shade I have is Seriously Sassy by Sassy Shelly.  This is another total WOWZA polish!  Seriously Sassy is a "royal purple jelly, with blue to purple colour shifting glitter."  It is so vibrant and gorgeous!  The color shifting glitter gives it that glowing look that we all love so much.  The formula and application were both great.  I used 2 coats of Seriously Sassy and 1 layer of topcoat.
