Alter Ego October Indie Pickup Exclusive: My Own Worst Enemy Soap

Hey hey friends!  It's been almost a week since I posted, but I've been on a tight schedule with my kids this week and trying to get everything done and frankly I am just done.  I am worn out.  I am big and lumbering and waddling and aching and in pain every time the baby moves now.  4 weeks to go and I would be very happy if it was an early L&D.  Anyways, that does not excuse me from my commitments to my blog and the lovely makers who use me to showcase their products.  Let's start off with this fun soap that will be available during the Indie Pickup, which opens up tomorrow! So the theme for the IPU is the same as it was for the PPU, Villains.  Alter Ego went with Tyler Durden from Fight Club and also make a fabulous pink polish that matches the soap!  You can see my post for the polish HERE. The soap is called My Own Worst Enemy and is the iconic pink bar of soap from the movie.  It will be available from 10/19 - 10/22 for $7.  I am not sure of the cap on this one so pay attention if you really want this one!  Let's jump in to the post!

Alter Ego September Indie Pickup Exclusive: Saturdays Are for Sven Chicken Ramen Soap

Morning friends!  I am cracking up as I type this post because the product is so ridiculously funny!  I think it also shows how awesome Cynthia, the maker behind Alter Ego is, because she knows not to take things too seriously sometimes.  Now that the PPU has closed we are rolling in to the IPU soon, which is all the non-polish products that makers sell.  It's actually kind of a boutique flea market of sorts with every sort of handmade item you can think of; soap, jewelry, squishies, slime, wax melts, makeup, etc, etc... Again, inspired by the horror movie host on late night TV, Svengoolie, Alter Ego took one of his props and turned it into a soap!  A rubber chicken soap.  That smells like chicken ramen.  Do I need to say anymore?!  You need this in your life, whether it be serious or as a joke, or as the perfect white elephant gift!  You can purchase the rubber chicken soap from 9/21 - 9/24 for $6. There will be a cap, only roughly 30-40 soaps to be had!  Let's check it out!

Envy Lacquer Bath & Body Products: Soap Envy Jelly Soap & Whipped Soap

Morning beauts!  Since I seem to be on a roll with body care products I figured I'd keep it going with a few products from Envy Lacquer.  Ok here's the deal though, I purchased these from the Indie Shop San Francisco which was back in August or September of 2017.  Yes, I still have untried stuff from then, but these I tried almost immediately because they were so interesting.  I've just been too swamped with deadlines to post them.  The Envy brand is currently being revamped so the website is empty at the moment but there's an ETA of March 24th to reopen with products, including the Whipped Soap and Jell Soap, YAY!  I totally suggest you try them out as I really enjoyed both.  Even Naomi got quite a laugh from the jiggly soap and it made shower time pretty fun!  And keep an eye on the Indie Shop Page for upcoming events (the March event is sold out).
