Different Dimension Spooky Spooky Collection, Halloween 2014

Good morning readers!  I can't think of a better way to celebrate the First Day of Fall than by showing you this awesome Halloween Collection from Different Dimension!  You probably know that Halloween is my favorite holiday and I love all things that have to do with it.  When this collection arrived I had to bring out my drool bucket!  Missi named this the Spooky Spooky Collection and it consists of 5 polishes in all different finishes.  Spooky Spooky is a Limited Edition collection that will only be available through the month of October.  Spooky Spooky will be for sale on Friday 9/26/14 at 9pm EST.  Well I don't know about you but I'm ready to look at polish!

The first polish I've got to share from the Spooky Spooky collection is Thriller.  Thriller is a "dark violet jelly with added shimmer."  Thriller is a gorgeous color!  I love the contrast of the base and shimmer colors.  Thriller was sheer on the first coat but built up beautifully in 3.  Formula and application were great.  I did not use topcoat for my pictures.

Werewolves Of London is the holo of the bunch.  So you know that means I love it (yes I'm an unfair polish mom and pick favorites)!  Plus it's orange, couldn't get any better than that!  I mean really it's the most perfect pumpkin orange ever.  But it could also look like some wild werewolf hair.  The formula and application of Werewolves Of London were both fabulous - smooth and great coverage.  I used 3 coats of Werewolves Of London and no topcoat.

You ready for this?  Monster Mash is an awesome blend of "orange, black and white glitters in a variety of shapes and sizes with added holographic shimmer."  I love that there  are so many fun shapes in here - circles, stars, triangles and more.  The addition of holo shimmer just brings it all together for a magical look.  The formula and application were both perfect.  Plenty of glitter came out - including the different shapes.  I started with Sheswai Winesnob as a base and used 2 coats of Monster Mash for full coverage.  I finished with 1 layer of topcoat.

Dragula takes the solid silver as my second favorite in this collection.  I've just become such a nut for micro glitters and this one screams Fall and Halloween to me.  Dragula is an "orange jelly based texture polish with black and orange holographic glitters throughout."  Dragula can be used alone in 2-3 coats or as a glitter topper over your choice of base color.  I chose to wear it alone.  The formula and application were both great.  I reached full opacity in 3 coats.  My pictures show Dragula with topcoat because I really wanted to show off the sparkly glitters.

Last but not least we have Ghostbusters.  Ghostbusters is a "light neon orange crelly with iridescent glitters.  Glows orange in the dark and can be intensified by wearing over white."  Ghostbusters sure is a unique color.  I am used to seeing iridescent glitters in a milky white base or in a clear base as a glitter topper so seeing them in this peachy orange is definitely interesting!  Ghostbusters was sheer with the first coat but it built up perfectly with 3 layers.  The iridescent glitters give it that glowy look that is so mesmerizing.  Formula and application were both lovely - no issues to bring up.  I love the bright orange glow of Ghostbusters in the dark!  I finished with topcoat.

I was also sent a new cuticle oil to review!  Yay, I love cuticle oil!  Missi will be releasing 5 new scents for the Fall and they will also be available on Friday 9/26.  The new scents are; Pumpkin Caramel Latte, Cake Batter, Candy Corn, Candy Apple, and Pumpkin Cheesecake.  I have Cake Batter and it absolutely smells just like that!  I get images of Funfetti cake mix every time I use this cuticle oil.  I enjoy the convenient click pen style, it makes the amount of oil dispensed a no brainer.  Just a few clicks and you have enough oil for 5 fingers.  Cake Batter absorbed into my cuticles quickly and left my skin feeling moisturized, smelling sweet and most importantly they were not left looking greasy.
