6 Harts April Polish Pick Up Exclusive: Heart of the Milky Way

6 Harts Polish Secret Galaxy

Today I have one more 6 Harts polish to share with you.  Secret Galaxy is a stunning and sparkly color changing topper that makes regular creme polishes something to swoon over!

I started this mani with 2 coats each of Orly Calypso Breeze and Blue Collar as an accent nail.  Both of them are pretty enough on their own, but with 1 layer of Secret Galaxy the colors really come alive!  Secret Galaxy is an amazing color shifting topper that looks amazing layered over black, but I always like to try something different, hence the choice of blue polishes.  Secret Galaxy has this great shimmer that shifts from blue to purple.  The outside pictures only show the blue sparkle, but the inside pics show a bit of the purple.  You will see this shift better over a darker color like black which is displayed on the etsy listing.  If you want some seriously blingy nails and are not a fan of glitter bombs this is a great option for you.  The formula was wonderful, smooth and easily applied on the nails.  1 coat was absolutely sufficient for the desired effect.  I used 1 layer of topcoat to finish it off.

6 Harts Polish Bat Crap Crazy

Here is the 3rd polish in my 6 Harts Polish installment.  In case you missed the posts here are the links to Summer Skies and Cloud Sculptures.  I am smitten.  Bat Crap Crazy has knocked it out of the park for me!  

BCC is fantastic and I can't get enough of it!  It's hard to even describe the way it looks because in different lighting it appears to have different qualities.  In direct sunlight BCC is very shiny and really shows off the shimmer.  In indirect light it has a soft satin finish.  In the shade it appears to be an extra glossy shimmer.  However you would chose to classify it yourself it's gorgeous.  BCC is a deep brown colored polish with gold and holographic shimmer.  The formula was so smooth and creamy.  I had no application problems.  I used 2 coats of Bat Crap Crazy and 1 layer of topcoat.

6 Harts Polish Summer Skies

I'm excited to show you another 6 Harts Polish!  I really like the last one I reviewed, Cloud Sculptures, and this one is equally as well made.  Summer Skies really captures the essence of a beautiful blue summer sky.  Courtney was inspired by Montana summers and that big blue sky!  With this beautiful polish on and snapping pictures in the sunlight, I am longing for hot summer days!  

I'd say Summer Skies is a shade darker than baby blue and quite a lovely color!  Summer Skies is a nice creamy formula and it applied very nicely.  What I liked best about Summer Skies was the golden shimmer.  You can also see flashes of aqua and green shimmer.  I used 2 coats of Summer Skies for full coverage.  For a little extra flare I sponged CND 24K Sheer Sparkle on my tips to play off the shimmer.  I think they worked well together, don't you?  And that one "streak" of gold reminds me of a ray of sunshine.  1 layer of top coat for smooth, glossy nails.

6 Harts Polish Cloud Sculptures

I am excited to share a new brand with you!  6 Harts Polish comes from a self proclaimed craft addict that makes polish as well as jewelry.  The owner Courtney takes pride in offering top quality products and from the experience I've had so far she really does aim high!  

I'll show you Cloud Sculptures first because I love glitters so much!  Cloud Sculptures is so pretty and just looking at my nails I'm trying to envision shapes in the glitter patterns.  CS is described by 6 Harts as "matte white glitters, short silver bar glitters, fine holo glitter and a dash of tiny blue-violet hex glitters."  Exactly!  I was particularly infatuated with the blue-violet glitters because they aren't overly noticeable at first, then you start looking and notice them everywhere!  They really are beautiful!  I used 2 coats of CS and had plenty of glitter come out with each coat.  I didn't have to fish for glitter or strategically place any on my nails…you see them as they lay from the brush strokes.  Everything lay flat on my nails.  You can wear CS over 6 Hart Polish Summer Skies (which I will review next) or any other base color since it's a clear based polish.  I chose to wear it over 2 coats of Orly Boho Bonnett, a light grey creme.  I went for the "grey skies, rain is coming" look.  1 layer of topcoat for smooth nails.
