Colors by Llarowe June Polish Pick Up Exclusive: The Great Escape
Phew, we had an exhausting weekend! We were here, there, everywhere! And I slept so poorly every night. I typically sleep bad the first night then I'm ok, but every single night was bad, ugh. Do you have issues sleeping comfortably in a hotel room? Anyways, I'm home now so hope to get a better nights sleep in my own bed (I may have already taken a long nap). Ok, the real reason I am here tonight is that the June PPU is THIS WEEKEND!! Sales will be from 6/1 - 6/4 and I've got several gorgeous polishes to share with you...I'm starting off with a stunning shade from Colors by Llarowe. This is called The Great Escape and will be $11 with no cap! This color excited me so let's jump right in to the post.

Born Pretty: Gemstone Stamping Plate
Today was a nice day. The weather was perfect. I visited with my grandpa. My kids were all good. Thank you Tuesday for not being awful. I'm back to the old blog and chain tonight with a quickie post featuring a super fun plate from Born Pretty. Took me a little while to really get decent at stamping and I feel that I am no longer a novice at it. Maybe I'll start trying to double stamp and reverse stamp. I think I can do it! Anyways, this is a great little gemstone plate, lots of loose stones and jewelry and all kinds of fun. I can't seem to locate this particular stamping plate but there are so many fun ones in the shop right now! You can save 10% using my code JTOW10. Alright, let's check it out.

Colors by Llarowe Mild & Wild 2018 Collection
Good morning and happy Saturday! We have survived another week, it was an especially long one for me. I worked out 3 separate times yesterday just to have some stress relief. I got it, and my body is sufficiently sore from doing new things (paddle board cardio/yoga anyone?!). So needless to say, I was a bit preoccupied with my body yesterday and didn't have a chance to sit down and get a post up. I'm making up for it today with a post or two, starting off with the up and coming Colors by Llarowe Mild & Wild 2018 Collection. 2 4-piece sets of coordinating polishes with a "mild" or "wild" theme. All 8 are fantastic. The Mild & Wild 2018 collection will be available on 2/1 for $5 or $11. I'll comment on the ones that are $5. You can buy the whole collection for $68. Now that you have all that info, let's check out some polish!

Colors by Llarowe - NailLand Exclusives; Scattered Sun & Berry Gem
Morning. Monday comes too fast around here. I am looking forward to Summer when I can actually sleep in a little. Not much, just a little. There's really no such thing as sleeping in when you have kids. I guess I failed when I was supposed to teach my kids that skill. But only 12 days of school left then I'll get a little break from the 6am wake up call. Anywho, I've got a post for you today featuring 2 gorgeous Colors by Llarowe polishes that are exclusive to the NailLand shop. These were creating as a collaboration between Llarowe and LakkomLakkom. The good news is these are both still available in the shop. The bad news is you're going to pay some steep shipping as this shop is in Hungary. So let's delve in and check out these shop exclusives!

Colors by Llarowe Winter Jellies/Crellies
Good afternoon dears! It feels like the calm before the storm this weekend. I know I need to get potatoes and things for side dishes, but the thought of going to the grocery store has me wanting to crawl back under my covers! If I wait longer I know it'll be worse! As will the everything to be done next week up until Thanksgiving. And then after that the malls and stores will all be jam packed until Christmas Eve. I love the holiday season, but I can do with out the added hustle and bustle. The fact that I've had 2 lazy weekends in a row with no plans has really made me appreciate being home in the peace and quiet (as much as it can be peaceful or quiet with 3 littles running around). So I'm about to get my hair did, darkened up but but I wanted to share this post with you right away as these jellies and crellies from Colors by Llarowe will be releasing tomorrow (11/23) into the core collection. If you weren't in the know, the Winter collection will also be launching tomorrow and you can see my post and pictures HERE. So let's jump in and check out these lovely polishes!

Colors by Llarowe Winter 2015
Good evening! Hopefully it's not too late for you lovelies...but I completely understand if you are already headed to bed for your beauty rest. My day has been full of blog stuff, mostly prepping, and I'll be doing some swatching soon. But I just had dinner and am about to start up a pumpkin pie/cheesecake bar desert for a potluck tomorrow. So I decided to take a little rest while things digest and enjoy the fireplace for a few. I figured it was a good time for you to get comfy and hunker down for a long post! Tonight I have the Colors by Llarowe Winter 2015 collection on my blog. This is a 12-piece collection, almost all holo, definitely all gorgeous. The Winter Collection will be available for pre-order on 11/23 from 12pm to 8pm MDT. These will be $12 USD each. Now grab your cocoa (or coffee, or tea, or water, or wine) and let's jump in to the post!

Colors by Llarowe Amarena
Good morning dears! Doesn't October just seem to be flying long? Way too fast for me! I don't even have all my kids costumes yet. Eeep! I am going as a witch and with all the gorgeous polish coming out at least I know I'll have fabulous nails! Point in case, this group custom Colors by Llarowe called Amarena! I don't believe this polish is available any longer but you can get in on the current and future customs by joining the Indie Polish Lovers United group on Facebook! And if Facebook groups aren't your thing, there are loads of jaw-dropping, gorgeous shades available in the CbL shop!
*nothing to disclose*
Amarena is inspired by the small, dark Italian cherry of the same name. The amarena cherry is usually dripping in syrup and used on desserts. Yummeh. I think this color is stunning and really does capture the look of the sticky, sweet fruit. Amarena is a deep red/burgundy base full of gold shimmer and tiny flakes. The formula was fan-flipping-tastic! Leah Ann really makes fabulous, opaque polish and this is a prime example. Amarena could easily have been 1 coat, but I used 2 for optimal depth and color richness. I finished with a layer of topcoat.

Colors by Llarowe Colorado On My Mind, Spring 2015
*indirect sun*
Garden of the Gods is a beautiful "muted rosy pinkish purple jelly." This is another gorgeous color! I was a fan of the squishy, shiny formula and ease of application. I ended up using 4 coats of this one. No topcoat needed.

Mile High Manicure is the only crelly of the bunch. It's described as a "medium greyed royal blue" shade. The color is fabulous. Formula and application were both great. Very creamy and great coverage in 2 coats. No topcoat needed as it still has a nice shiny finish.

Rocky Mountain High is a "medium turquoise teal jelly." This was the most sheer of all the jellies and that probably made it my least favorite. While I do enjoy a jelly I also want more coverage than this one provided. The color was nice, and the formula was just like the rest, squishy and glossy. I used 4 coats and no topcoat.

Wildflower Fields is a "bright, almost neon blurple jelly." Gorgeous color! The formula was really great, juicy and shiny. It applied perfectly and the coverage was nice. I used 3 coats and no topcoat.

Where the Columbines Grow is a "deep wine orchid jelly." Probably my favorite of the collection because its just so darn pretty! I love deeper colors and this one is going to be amazing for the cooler months as well as sexy date night nails. Plus it makes me thirst for a glass of wine and there ain't nothing wrong with that (even if it's 10:30 am here). Loved the formula and application. I used 3 coats and no topcoat.

Broncos, Baby! is a "bright deep royal navy jelly." FABULOUS! This is my other favorite in the collection. Like I said before, dark colors really speak to me. This jelly is fairly opaque and almost completely covered in 2-3 coats. Great formula and application. No topcoat needed.

I wanted to use the jellies all together to create an art look and this is what I came up with. I started with a silver flakie polish as a base. I then used: Where the Columbines Grow, Rocky Mountain High, Pikes Pink, Broncos, Baby!, Garden of the Gods and Wildflower Fields over the silver flakie. I used the dry brushstroke method, where I wiped most of the excess polish off the brush and then applied it to my nails. I love how the jellies look over the silver flakie. You could also create a look like this using a silver microglitter. I finished this with 1 layer of topcoat.
