KBShimmer August Polish Pickup Exclusive: Sandy

Good morning!  Sadly I am boarding a plane and am off on my return home trip.  Wah, I always hate leaving Hawaii.  I wish I lived here.  But I don't so I guess it's back to reality for me.  Might as well get it with that mind set now!  Alright, so last night I dove in to the PPU posts I have to share.  I'll continue along with that line of thought today.  The August theme is Musicals.  That leaves a pretty wide array of subject matter because basically any movie with singing in it is a musical, including cartoons.  There are so many great musicals and many are represented this month!  KBShimmer went with one that I'm sure everyone is familiar with, Grease!  When I was in high school I used to sing and act out the scenes, I would always be Sandy and would make my little sister be Danny (HA, I was so mean).  My bestie and I still call each other "Pinky Lee" when we talk to each other.  So you get my drift, I grew up with this musical and love it! Sandy will be available from 8/3 - 8/6 for $10, no cap.  Time to take a look at it!

My Indie Polish August Polish Pickup Exclusive: Summer

Good evening!  I'm on Hawaii time so this post isn't really that late night for me, but for everyone else it's an absurd hour so excuse me for that!  My vacation was literally only in the room for sleeping time so I didn't have much time to share posts at night.  It's time to start bombarding you with August PPU posts.  The theme for the month is Musicals, how fun! I do love a good musical, my favorite is actually West Side Story and it happened to be on TV just the other night!  I'm starting it off with My Indie Polish Summer, inspired by The Donna Summer Musical.  You will be able to purchase Summer from 8/3 - 8/6 for $12.50, no cap.  Let's check it out!

Londontown Lakur; Summer 2018

Good morning dears!  Sorry for radio silence but I'm off on vacation and have found little time to sit down at the laptop and get posts written up.  My days are all about pool, beach, family excursions, going out for amazing meals.  Between the heat, being on my feet and being pregnant I basically barely make it into my pjs before I crash each night.  Anyways, what I am getting at is that I have about a zillion posts to share with you now and will be trying to catch up, possibly double posting once I return home mid-week next week.  Let's get this party started with a beautiful collection from Londontown.  I first came into contact with the brand at CPNA 2016.  I was fully impressed with the brand, colors and especially the Instant Smudge Fix.  I came home with samples and have purchased from the brand multiple times since then.  I was pretty stoked when they contacted me to do a review!  I was sent nail care and a few polishes from the Summer 2018 collection to try out.  If you mosey on over to the Londontown site before 7/29 at 11:59pm EST you can save 30% off your order. Alright, you ready to jump in?  Then let's go!

What I Bought: Polish Pickup May '18, 1990's

Backstreet's Back, ALLRIGHT!  Haha, just kidding...but it's a song from the 90's and this post is all about the polishes I picked up from the 90's themed PPU in May.  I loved the month, it was probably my favorite.  It was a total throw back to my middle school/high school/early college years.  I knew the inspiration for every single item in the shop and wanted to buy them all, but settled for a select few.  You won't be able to find any of these unless you hunt them down in the PPU sales group, but the August PPU is just around the corner and from all the sneak peeks it's got to be a great month for shopping!  Okie dokie, lets jump on in and see the plethora of pictures I have of each polish!

Envy Lacquer + Never Enuff Polish; TIS San Francisco Duo, Boat Snack & Beyond the Reef

Morning dears!  Exciting game this morning!  Who are we rooting for, Croatia or France?  Truthfully neither are "MY" team so I am just enjoying the game. Anywho, looking through old polish I haven't swatched/shared with you and realized I didn't do anything from The Indie Shop that was in San Francisco last summer.  It was a really fun event, mermaid themed, my daughter enjoyed it as well.  I really hope they plan on coming back to the Bay Area soon!  So this was a duo available at the show, created by Envy Lacquer and Nvr Enuff, I think they actually came with a cute frosty blue shot glass but I don't remember where I put that.  They were inspired by the movie Moana.  Of course these aren't available now, but both shops have lots of gorgeous polish to pick from so head over to their sites to check them out.

OMGeeee you guys!  I just got home from dinner and I am about to explode!  I just had the yummiest Indian food ever!  Lots of leftovers came home with me so I will be eating it again for lunch tomorrow.  So I'm currently resting and letting my full tummy rest, no better time to share a post with you!  Now I was quite un-queen like with the way I pigged out at dinner, but this polish is regal enough for the nails of Daenerys herself.  And thus we have the Dragon Queen, the next installment of the Stella Chroma Queens of Westeros collection.  This gorgeous polish will be available exclusively through the Hella Handmade Creations from 7/14-7/21 for $12, no cap.  Let's go ahead and jump in because I want to look at nail polish!
