Darling Diva Polish Queen Collection: Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Bohemian Rhapsody, Killer Queen

Good morning lovelies!  I have some extra gorgeous polish to show you today so get your drool rags ready.  The polish in this post hails from the Darling Diva Polish Queen Collection.  First let me say that Freddie Mercury is one of my favorite singers EVER, next to David Bowie of course.  The man was a lyrical and musical genius.  And I am in no way biased in my opinion of these polishes because I love Queen and Freddie so much - this collection is flipping amazing!  I was stunned with each one I put on and could not choose a favorite if I had to!  Carrie categorizes the polish in this collection as "Super Multi-Chrome Holo."  Wow, that's alot of awesome going on.  This collection is only available at the DDP Big Cartel shop.  You can also shop on the Etsy store - which also has an exclusive holo right now.  DDP is also available at Llarowe and Mei Mei's Signatures.  Be sure to like DDP on Facebook for updates on stock, new colors and promotions!

Up first I have Crazy Little Thing Called Love.  I loved this pretty hard.  It's a gorgeous purple that shifts to blue, amber and magenta.  The holo is a mix of linear and tightly scattered.  I had full coverage with 2 coats and I used 1 layer of topcoat.  The holo was not effected with the topcoat.  The formula was really lovely to work with, no problems to report.  On my accent nail I did 1 layer of Orly Liquid Vinly, a black creme, and used a fan brush to apply CLTCL horizontally over the black.  I thought it was a fun addition to the mani!

Bohemian Rhapsody was the one that really sucked me in when I first saw this collection.  I love me some green polish and I was like grabby hands-have to have it.  I love the colors in BR.  I see green, silvery sage, blue, light purple, deep purple, even a little pink.  It also has a mixture of linear and tightly scattered holo.  I used 3 coats of BR because is was just a smidgen more sheer than CLTCL.  But it applied great and the formula was wonderful with no issues.  I did an accent nail with a gradient of BR and Killer Queen over 1 layer of Orly Liquid Vinyl.  I totally dig how that nail came out.  1 layer of topcoat didn't effect the holo.

And last I have Killer Queen.  Killer Queen is another amazing multi-chrome holo but this one has the richest color pay off of the 3 I shared today.  I see mainly purple, but I also see blue and some red tones.  KC has the same linear/tightly scattered holo as the other 2 and the use of topcoat did not effect the holo.  I used 3 coats here but would have been fine with 2.  The formula was spot on, so easy to use and nothing to report.  For this accent nail I again started with a coat of Orly Liquid Vinyl (black creme) and used the saran wrap method to apply KQ on top.  It turned out with a cool mottled look.  1 layer of topcoat to finish.

  2. I really like Darling Diva polishes, and these all look great in the sunshine. I must admit I find them extremely dull looking in the shade, so I'll have to give them all a miss :/

  4. What's the name of the exclusive holo on the Etsy site, do you know? I got Crazy Little Thing Called Love and We Will Rock You from this collection (amongst many others of her other holos). She is one of my faves! How do you feel it compares to Enchanted?
